No such thing as bad taste, just if you like it or not. I’d rather see that than fifty shades of bloody grey, which is just boring. I didn’t like the decor in my current home, so it’s just a few weekends with some paint and wallpaper. I dare say plenty of people would hate my decor, but that’s okay, it ain’t their home 😂SuzeQStan said:My tastes have always been ‘eclectic’ according to my OH - so I reckon it’s me 🤣👍🏻

I'm mystified by the sealed bottle of champagne on the windowsill in pic 5, don't they know to store champers on its side to keep the cork moist and that sunlight and temperature swings will affect the wine? Also wondering about the kitchen and where they actually prepare food but maybe they buy ready made or take aways. Do you think they'll get a lot of viewings purely out of curiosity?strawb_shortcake said:I think this house may have been decorated with the sole purpose of featuring on this thread...

It seems to be an unfinished project with planning permission for an extension intended as the kitchen with the completed room then becoming an utility room.goldfinches said:

On the (in)famous Bishops Avenue (so called Billionaires' Row)
Like many houses there, bought by opaque foreign buyers, some never or rarely occupied.
London Centric website has been able to identify the legal owner of the house as two companies named after the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah but the individuals who own these companies are hidden behind a further series of off-shore trusts based in the British Virgin Islands and Jersey.

I had to take another look but I think there is a fridge and a work bench type arrangement at the back of the lounge which seems to house a kettle, air fryer?? and baskets with food etc Hardly feels practical!Dandie89 said:
