I too was a bit gobsmacked when I saw the price on that one - although it IS a semi in an area where those are relatively hard to come by, and it is literally minutes to the station to Liverpool Street one way, and under 10 minutes to the tube the other way, as well as being directly on a bus route straight through to Stratford for the Elizabeth Line as well… still though, I think that’s optimistically priced!Patr100 said:
I know the area and prices well. I moved only a little further out three years ago.RHemmings said:

If it appears on 'Homes Under the Hammer', then a property developer will say that he's completely refurbished the property for £5.75 and a few packets of crisps, and it will set at auction for three million.
Yes its usual London mad prices etc but It's already priced at around the top of end of asking prices for already refurbished houses round there
so I think they're trying it on with "offers over" 850k- You can look up nearby sold prices yourself. plus factor in maybe at least £50-100K to finish the job,🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

For those who have PatMa, this property sold four times on the 15th of October, and the sale then fell through every time on the same day. It then sold and the sale fell through again on the 18th of October. Based on the standard interpretation of going 'Unavailable' as sold.

Oh, and the lease has nine years left to run. And, it's described in different places as a 6th floor flat, and a 4th floor flat.
I suspect that some new office junior hasn't learned how to use Rightmove yet.

I love the juxtaposition between the carpets. Especially the room with the stairs. I can just see the owners in the carpet shop choosing them. ‘Yes that looks good together’ https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/153384971?fbclid=IwY2xjawGCUclleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHXqRziOjjB8OIASFrTlNOa--07yq0Vnnc-u3tgbS1s7SzMzEq39bMZ-RsA_aem_Q1lNUdbIp7U0_XvH2RSn8g#/?channel=RES_BUY3

Reminds me of the carpets in my home when I moved on. Spotlessly clean in my case, though not my taste.Green_hopeful said:I love the juxtaposition between the carpets.
