5 bedroom detached house for sale in Old Moss Lane, Glazebury, Cheshire, WA3 (rightmove.co.uk)Sorry, I've been away for a bit distracted by other things.

I do sometimes wonder what to do when I'm putting something in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Answer is here. Not going to work for my small kitchen though2 -

I suppose if it was in one of the bedrooms I could make an educated guess, but the kitchen??Nice house (though I'm not personally a massive fan of the Kentmere/Staveley area)0

This one I found interesting not because of any pet llamas in the shots, or swings in the kitchen, or unknown objects in an outbuilding, but because info is available to see the clear before and after of property development. It seems that this house has been completely redone inside and out, except that I can't see the roof.

The timeline on Zoopla is here:
https://www.zoopla.co.uk/property/uprn/2465042629/
It was bought in Feb 2020 pre-refurbish, and then first listed post-refurbish in April 2023. It's been relisted April 2024 with a new agent at a different price than in April 2023, and then recently the price has changed.
The April 2023 listing is here: https://www.zoopla.co.uk/property-history/27-bembridge-close/leicester/le3-9ap/64501135/
The sales history for the small road this is in is here: https://www.zoopla.co.uk/house-prices/leicester/bembridge-close/?sortOrder=last_sale_date&sortDirection=desc
I would guess that 2020 to 2023 is too long for refurbishment, unless someone is doing the work themselves bit by bit. It seems that a very large amount of work has been done on this property. Some work on the garden has been done between April 2023 and April 2024.
According to Google Streetview, the external refurbishment (at last) hadn't started by October 2022, apart from the front wall to the road being partially demolished.

I find this interesting (entirely possible that no-one else will) due to the clearly large amount of work done.
BTW: I have the title register, and there's a charge from a (most likely) mortgage on the property - so if it was not lived in just developed, that could be some interest payments going on top of other costs. And, the owner's LinkedIn is visible. I won't give a description, but the photo looks very much like the stereotypical 'property developer'. (They have professional standing in another profession too.)
I sort of used this as an example of exactly how much information is out there about properties that can be found.0 -

The owner lives in Madagascar. It was bought in 2008 for £145k.
The legal pack is very small, just one PDF, and doesn't say a lot. The 'burdens' include that this is a monument of national importance.

Hollywood films cost £1million per minute to make. So you could recoup the costs via some film location work ..1
