I've seen this one before, and now it's been reduced. What I keep wondering is, how can they be so sure there is no scope for vehicular access?

I deduce from the exasperated caps lock that they have had plenty of people sniffing around thinking they can create access.0 -
I rather like that - lovely quiet, private plot - the house needs a bit more personality inside. I wonder if the front brick wall is covered by something like a conservation area, eliminating front access. The side would be the more obvious and discreet way to do it, from that lane adjacent - but maybe whoever owns it and the farm at the end of that lane has simply said "not on your nelly"Sapindus said:I've seen this one before, and now it's been reduced. I was vaguely looking too and I think the farm I referenced is Dorrington Grange which is also listed. There were several properties in that immediate area that were. If you look at Street View and look opposite - you can see the nature of the buildings in the village - hence I thought Conservation Area.GrannyKate said:The Priory at Dorrington is grade II listed and I suspect that wall is included.
My local council promised to resurface the tarmac pavement outside my house after a flood in 2013 ripped chunks of it up. I'm still waiting. I bet they weren't waiting that long.0 -
I'm obsessed with the details of the bathroom in picture 24 (the wood ceiling! the feature tile! the blind! the curtains!)

I don't think I've seen pale blue sanitary ware before. That's the kind of house you'd feel obligated to take your shoes off at the door - and if you didn't, you'd probably be asked. It's very nice. The house next to my parents' place was a smaller version of that - the wife just cleaned inside full time and he did the same outside.Cairnpapple said:I'm obsessed with the details of the bathroom in picture 24 (the wood ceiling! the feature tile! the blind! the curtains!)
