Interesting floor plan.  Cavernous kitchen and living space in the main downstairs part.  Then a cosy small kitchen and living space tucked up in the loft space.

Reading between the lines, the big downstairs area is too cold / too expensive to heat in winter so they abandon it and live in the easier to heat small loft setup.

Yeah I was thinking it looks lovely, but I'd need my own oil field or wind farm to heat the downstairs!

I don't often get house envy but this is giving me house envy for sure! Utterly impractical of course.

Having read the articles linked in the listing, I suspect the current owner hasn't had any issue in affording the fuel bills.

Seems good value. Love the huge stained glass windows. Bit too much IKEA downstairs.

Not sure what you think happens to fire damaged houses? 

They are classic doer-ups so this is pretty common, loads like that on rightmove. 

I mean it has sold.
