My understanding is that those 4 patio doors are min 16ft wide so 18+ ft seems reasonable to me
If you're first time buyers and want to be close to central Leicester I think it's a pretty cool house.
Inside anyway. Outside it's a standard looking place with a rear extension.
Big garden. Could get some nice outbuildings and an outdoor jacuzzi in there easily
The house I'm buying is similar in some ways, but one difference is a small kitchen versus that. I am considering the possibility of an extension for a kitchen so the house posted here was interesting as an example of what could be done. But, whether the measurements suggest so or not, that kitchen looks too much to me. At least in comparison to the rest of the house. I'm most likely not going to do any of this particularly since other family members seem entirely unconcerned about the size of our (assuming completion) kitchen.
Not really had time to think about it, but if I did extend, maybe part of that would be kitchen and part a utility room. With the current kitchen becoming a downstairs bathroom. But, this is just idle thinking.
I'm not sure if it's suitable for this thread to go too deeply into discussion.0 -

I didn't look at where the A38 is relation to the house, but yes I wouldn't want to live on that. I know people that do but each to their ownMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
