Looking at the floor plan, the kitchen was probably originally an outhouse, so where was the kitchen originally ? And why move it? Logically I would want to knock down the wall to the next room to make it more spacious and fit a table, so why hasn’t anyone thought to do this? I suspect there are building Reg issues.

Looks like a single brick wall extension, could be very cold in winter. Looks like the photographer
Accidentally selected the opposite of wide angle and shrunk the door. 

Apart from that, nice big garden, parking and a pretty house 

Pic 4 does show the door being much wider.

This is an interesting one.  There is mention of "2 gardens"  I thought that just meant you had the tiny back garden and a separate garden across the road in front of the house.

But looking at the pictures and reconciling it with the satellite view, it has one garden directly opposite the house and a second garden across the road but a few doors along.  I wonder how that came about?

For the house I'm buying - the compromise is that the kitchen's a bit small. I wondered about the future option of adding an extension and making it all kitchen. But, looking at this house I think that's going a bit far. I guess not for others. 

Unless there is underfloor heating, I don't understand how the kitchen will be heated. I also like a large kitchen to have a l proper table.

The blurb says it does have underfloor heating.

Years ago we were looking at buying in the Forest of Dean, seemed quite common for neighbours to sell bits of garden to others, so may be what happened here? 

It's also quite close to where the Abbey was, so could well be linked in someway to that. Other houses I've seen for sale in that area have had some unusual set ups as well as restrictions and protections placed on some land and houses

I like it too though I agree the kitchen would be a struggle. I don't mind the lay out per-say but what would you do for storage?

Not to my taste, but I've seen a lot worse! Would have been nice if the photographer could have held the camera steady throughout.
