Well loved house.

What is that at the foot of the bath, picture 12?

I see the statues face is blurred out in pic 15. One has to protect the identity of the statue.

I believe it is the mobility aid - to help lower someone into the bath and to help raise them to get out.

This house went on the market in March for 500K and a few days after it came to rightmove I called the agent and was to -ld they had 30 enquiries about it already. Next door house is showing as 'under offer' with an asking price of £775K. Seems reasonable to be asking for £600K for next door.

I wouldn't touch either.  The houses are over on the right albeit behind the council offices.  But this is currently the road to the council offices.

Now if you put the house-that-thinks-it's-a-boat in that street then all is well.

The house is set into a bank, so on the ground floor only doors at the front.

The only direct access to the back, is steps down onto the ships deck from the 2 loft bedrooms. My guess is they were the children's rooms and much fun was had on that "boat"

I hope so. Just noticed that the only heating and hot water is from the log burner. So bet those kids were hardy sea dogs! Oo-aaarrrgh. Shiver me timbers 

One could always burn bits of the house if the logs ran out...
