No, not really. It's a civil claim. For all you know they do have a permit. So why won't you respond? That's NOTnwhat the newbies thread instructs!
Pretty sure the newbie thread states to ignore any threatening letters and to not appeal the ticket. We are nowhere near CCJs for this secondary ticket.2 -

Any advise on taking the attack to them?0 -
They do not have a permit as its meant to be clearly displayed, the parking spot in question is right next to my flat so I have clear visibility and they did not have a permit. So it seems to be double standards. That's totally irrelevant in regard to your gf's ticket. Forget it!
Deal with it as per the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, first post.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Any advise on taking the attack to them? You are told not to appeal to the ias. You ARE told to appeal to the ppc1 -
The keeper should appeal the second PCN using the template from the NEWBIES, but add a comment that the judge in the persuasive appeal court case of Laura Jopson vs Homeguard Services Ltd stated that loading and unloading is not parking.I married my cousin.
