My last lot of bananas went very ripe so wanted to make banana bread to not waste them. Only didn't have any baking powder to make it so went out to get that. That and a couple of items later and I was able to make the cake in my pressure cooker. 
Banana cake is resting on the side now. OH keeps eyeing it up as although he doesn't like bananas on their own he loves banana cake. 

How do you make banana bread in a pressure cooker?

Dinner for OH - beef stew with mashed potato. 
My dinner - sweet potato chili with rice.

Got some meatless mince out of the freezer and that is now in the fridge defrosting for tomorrow. That will make shepherdless pie mix, I will have that tomorrow likely with mashed or boiled potatoes.
OH will have the same tomorrow as today for dinner.
We will also be having pancakes (mine vegan buckwheat ones 😁) tomorrow.

On the old forum there was a way of going to your 'last read post' and catching up from there. Does anyone know how to do it on this new forum. I can't see how to do it anywhere -Thanks

If you come in via all bookmarks instead of notifications it presents the screen with the first post you have not read

Bookmarks top right corner, little blue spot shows new posts, click link, takes you to last read.

Hi Peeps,
well I embarked on the journey this month with a budget of £200 for 2 adults. This was a 5 week month, not listed weekly but have hopefully documented most of it. OH on board too and he is good with keeping receipts. As of today we have 25.72 till pay day which is the 27th. I'm thinking of getting the sack of dog food  which is £20 and a very strict list to go to Ald! with. Only need potatoes and my fruit tea.

I had not completed a task in January to find out our need so am very pleased how this has panned out over a long month. I will look to keep the dog food in here along with their tinned fish treats they got weekly. I had intended to save for the meat purchase as that is done ad hoc over the months. Will try to save £10 towards the meat bill in March. Think I will put that away first. I have used an old purse with the funds and receipts in it and have used this as the bank of food.

I've added my receipts for the last week, the total comes to £45.88 , £26.50 of which was cat food and cat litter from Mr. S.  One more week and a half to go in February for me.

It’s my final shop of the month tomorrow, going to try and keep it low, but we are running out of several bits and pieces 🙄 fingers crossed it won’t be too high
