Total so far this month is £25.60. Done a couple of small shops including in Lidl (£12) and tesco express (£10). Haven't done a main shop yet, that may be done the end of this week though, we'll see what we're running out of. Prefer to walk to get most groceries, only really use the car if it's heavy items or a lot of things.Tonight we're having cottage pie, veggies and gravy. Tomorrow my plan is home fried chicken, so will need to get a cabbage as we always make coleslaw to go with it (I can't eat onion, so shop bought is a no-go).Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3659

£20.22 today in Asda, needed fruit and lunch stuff for work. also picked up two slim fast x 6 bottles for £2 each that I’ve been wanting to try out. 8 more days of this budget. Looking forward to March. Feel an M nd S shop coming on, haven’t been once this year. But Marchs budget is going to depend on how much my car repairs end up being next month9
