I spent £22.74 in Aldee and then 70p in the greengrocers as I’d forgotten onions. Spent most of the weekend batch cooking so the freezer is a lot fullerSPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)9

Another £30 spent on stuff for a celebratory meal for our shiny newly-engaged couple! To be fair, it would have been a darn sight more to take them (plus those siblings still lurking about) out for a meal, so I'm counting myself lucky rather than broke! And we've spent a happy evening planning a "runaway" wedding/relaxed family holiday, probably in France; they've decided that would suit them (and their budget) far better than a grand (and very expensive) "do" over here. The bride's step-sister is also getting married this summer & so far a relatively modest "do" is setting them back £20,000, plus an awful lot of stress...

Just logging in to record spends - another £17.49 on a combination of meat, fruit and of course bread. Last night our local cwarp announced that all loose bakery items were free and to take them away! Not many in store (people that is) so snaffled pastries, croissants and baguettes - two each for the household. Croissants in freezer for weekend treat along with baguettes (for garlic bread) and pastries taken to work for lunches.
Have slow cooker on with YS beef and fridge veg as topping up today at Morri's when I take DF shopping. Still not liking the site - using chrome and miss my little Martin in the tab - now just a mini MSE - awful. Have a lovely day allJanuary 2020 Grocery challenge £119.45/£200

Did a large-ish shop, spent £33.27 which included toiletries and fruit and veg and a few meat options. Also got a treat for supper tonight, making BBQ ribs (soon to be popped in the slow cooker). We got a few items we saw on offer but which weren't on our list so we don't pay full price (butter and soap). Total is now £58.87/£170 so I'm quite pleased with that.

Did an Aldi shop £60 but that did include 4 bottles of wine, as the weather is going to be bad again at weekend, we’ve decided to have a ‘lock in’ 😊Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

£61.63 on the shop today, total £285.22/£370.00.
I'm going to have to be more careful from now on to stay below target, feel like I've spent too much early on. I have got enough stuff in the cupboards and freezer though to make the next one really low spend, made the most of buying some bits that were really good offers that will keep and definitely get used, and more than enough pet food for the rest of the month thanks to the deals on that.Make £2020 in 2020 - £289.53 / £2020
