  • Good evening :D

Paid stuff done. DH has done a few loads of washing, and cleaned out the rest of my car :T

We went to pick up the new car, only to be told that I had the wrong log book!! However, I needed to leave a £250 deposit, and my old car, and I now have a super new (to me, but nearly new) car :j:j They will refund the £250 when I produce my log book :o I searched high & low, and was so chuffed when I found it. I even found an old log book for a car that has long since gone, and I do remember the DVLA sending out new ones, but I thought it was a new one!! It is certainly different to the other one I found, so they must have done this twice!! I will have another look in my super (not!!) filing system, and then I will just phone for a new one (at a cost of £25). Ho hum!!

In the mean time, I think I need to do more shredding & organising.... I'm fed up with the chaos tbh :( I will do some now

I hope everyone has had a good day.

Evening all. Work now finished for the day. I love the new bathroom flooring and apart from hoovering I completed today's list.

Going to be a long night. Got to drop DH off to work at 10pm then pick him up at 2am, then start work myself at 6.30.
Spend less now, work less later.

Thank you so much! So I am not going mad - I don't have one! I had my car nearly 11 years (bought Apr 09), and nothing has changed, so it is still 'valid'. However, the dealership won't accept it!! I will phone tomorrow to get it replaced, hopefully for free. Although I may phone the dealers as well and give them this link!

Ugggghh why when I have flu have I spend a half half hour cleaning my oven door earlier. Finally resorted to a ceramic hob scraper and it was effortless. Put the glass back all clean and sparkling :j:j Trouble was I was only going in the kitchen to make a cuppa ☕

Managed to cook tea tonight then ended up flopped on the sofa for the evening.

I am gritting my teeth and keeping calm with regards to my brother in law. He really has pushed someone too far now. When Dave came off the phone to his mum yesterday, she had been naturally worried that she hadn't heard from the other son in a few days. Which was apparently not like him as he phoned every other night. Well Dave spoke to the home and they checked and she was right he hasn't phoned recently. So while Dave was talking to the home I sent my brother in law a text just seeing if he was ok and saying that his mum was worried about him. Now I didn't think that was unreasonable especially as he is doing nothing in regards her house etc. He basically told my DH, when mother in law went into the home, he wanted nothing to do with it all and could Dave sort everything out etc..I.e pay the home bills, communicate with them etc...

Well he came back to me a couple of minutes later by text and basically told me not to bother him again and I had woken him up again! This was at 7.30pm.. Oh and he said he was in contact with his mum regularly...which is a lie. She's been in the home 4 weeks and he hasn't even been to visit her...

So as you can imagine I told DH that I want nothing more to do with his brother, as I run around backwards doing stuff for his mum and the home. I make phone calls etc.. I'm the one that sorts out any forms etc..Dave just sends them over. I'm also their first contact as I'm easy to get hold of. And if he contacts me he'll be blocked.

Do you think I'm over reacting or am I in the right to do this do you think? DH understands where I'm coming from as it did happen before with his brother and him getting to me by text. Ok I did get an apology last time but this time I haven't heard a squeak from the brother. I was supposed to be organising together the brother to the home as a surprise for his mums 85th birthday in a couple of months, but I dont want to do it now. Dave has said he understands and it is his brothers loss if he cant speak to me nicely..heck he doesnt even ring us from one year to another as it is.

Oops sorry it's long ..I really needed to vent

Morning all, hugs to Natty and Dancemum and anyone else who needs them.

Rough night as expected. Need matchsticks to keep my eyes open. All my dreams were around being quarantined with Coronavirus, then the dogs woke at 5.

So today will be work and just a bit of paperwork on top of dailies I think.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning all

Lots of hugs, especially to Natty, dancemum and YL.

I’ve been reading along this week but not posting. I feel as if I’m trudging through treacle. My procrastination has reached Olympic medal status which stresses me, so I procrastinate...you get the picture. There are so many things that I want to get done, and then I feel inadequate as others seem to do it. I think I (and DH if I’m honest) just need a darn good rocket up my backside. DH is stressed due to work and yet another reorganisation, I’m making stupid mistakes at work as I can’t concentrate. Sorry - offloading this morning was not my intention, and I’m so totally aware that things could be so much worse.

    So...
    Wm is just finishing
    HHI done
Clean washing about to be sorted

Then it’s off to work via dropping DD off. We are out tonight AND tomorrow night for dinner with different groups of friends - would it be so bad to go in my pjs and curl up under the table?? :rotfl:

Have a lovely day all. X

    Morning xx

It was too good to last; and I know that some of you guys are going through horrendous times and this is nothing in comparison, but I'm so fed up. Why can't things just trolley along nicely for a little while?

They put the radio on in the office yesterday. It was only for the last two hours but they plugged it in and sat it next to my desk. I really don't want to be the 'spoilsport' who doesn't want the radio on. but the noise literally does my head in.

And so my anxiety has gone through the roof; I don't want to go to work today and now I'm crying. Maybe I'm just unemployable :(

Trudging through treacle here too Fayolle.

I have made my bed, got dressed and made my pack up but all I really want to do is run away.

    Sorry.
