    hi all
    Update for you guys
should have started off by saying a big thankyou! with your help the Credit card company - have refunded the full amount. DRP have 45 days to appeal. if successful, then the CC company will return my money to them. its been a while but not quite the 45 days but fingers crossed this is settled. no doubt ACPOA will want their turn when the realise the parking charge is not being paid
fast forward to this morning, i receive the same letter from DRP telling me that i have to pay £165.00. i dont need to respond to these bunch of bandits but i have had nothing from APCOA themselves so not sure whether i should contact/appeal/vent at them?
thanks in advanced and again appreciate your time

APCOA never sue anyone so you could have ignored them all along, or (our advice) easily blown them over at POPLA by simply never saying who was driving.  APCOA don't use the legal wording that they could use, to hold keepers liable.

Expect DRP to appeal.  Be ready to show to the card provider that the law says you never owed the money in the first place as this parking firm cannot hold a registered keeper liable and DRP misled you on liability.  There is a law for keeper liability (the POFA 2012, schedule 4) but APCOA never bother.

I’ll wait for the cc compant to come back to me in that case and file the DRP Letter in the bin
whereas APCOA are concerned they can join the queue
    will keep you guys posted
    thank you

Thing is, PPCs are not even in the queue, if you are counting actual debts.

The debts are no such thing and Judges usually see it - and APCOA never sue/can't hold a keeper liable, anyway!

IMO it would be very easy to prove fraud by DRP.  Whoever their card provider is, they could close their account and that is circulated throughout the banking system including PayPAL

There is only one way DRP can stop this is to stop scamming people with fake amounts
