The poster appears to be from the US of Trump and advertising a different company to the one you have mentioned.

OP, you say that you have never been to Ilford.  Has anyone driven your car to Ilford?

If not, why not just let Newlyns take your car, hire another one, hire a solicitor, and/or PI, get it sorted and sue the pants of the PPC.

Good news and hopefully final update on this.

My court date is not for a while but I just got an email from solicitors to say UKCPM have admitted they were at fault and completed their DVLA search for the wrong vehicle due to an admin error, and that they issued proceedings against the wrong defendant. The solicitors have sent me a consent form for the judgement to be set aside, the claim to be dismissed, and the court costs to be refunded to me.

So this is hopefully the end of that! I want to say a big thanks to all those that gave me advice here, without your help I would have probably ended up in trouble - thank you all for your help in resolving this somewhat surreal situation.
