they can only get details once from the dvla therefor all threat letters and court letters went to old address
how soon after moving did you update dvla , did you have mail fowarding ?0 -
You can check to see if you have a ccj here https://www.trustonline.org.uk/0
-
newlyn info would just be court date , not date of incident or location0

Yep, which is why this OP needs to do a SAR from Gladstones and from UKCPM. The parking firm's data alone will not give him/her the claim number.this reads like a long journey into insanity. I was not at the address, this ticket was not issued to me.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3784421/Stranger-s-40-parking-ticket-cost-family-new-home.htmlDo I really need to go through all this?
Once you have the SAR you will know more about the car in the photos, and you will have all the data and photos and claim number, dates and details that you need to lodge a set aside application.
If the SAR photos show it was never your car (at all) you will be DEMANDING that UKCPM pay the fees for the set aside and do it all themselves to relieve you of this scam CCJ. But we don't know till you get the SARs from UKCPM and Gladstones so email them now.
THE NEWBIES THREAD GIVES YOU THE WORDS TO USE, AND HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT EMAIL FOR THE DATA PROTECTION OFFICER FOR THE SAR AND TO TELL THEM ABOUT YOUR ADDRESS AND TO 'ERASE' THE OLD ONE.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, there is no court date on the letter, just the client (uk car park), car reg, contravention date and the supposed location of pcn, which is the back of a run down housing estate in essex.0 -
We know. Now do those emails. We told you what to say and who to email.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This entire industry acts in an unregulated way and yes it is insane. This was worse:

You have a CCJ and are being threatened by bailiffs. Those are the stark, insane facts. So yes, you need to get the unfair CCJ set aside and claim the court fees back from UKCPM.

Thank you again for the info, this is v helpful. I have emailed both Gladstone and UKCPM with an SAR, let's see what happens. One more question: I am concerned that all this is going to take a while, in the meantime I only have 5 days to pay the bailiffs before they come round. What do I do about that?0 -
I am surprised as that info is no use to newlyn , they just need date of default and amount
sars need doing tonight as they can take 30 days , you need this info towards you court setaside0 -
You hide your car inside a garage and do NOT answer the door and tell any family members to do the same. No cars parked on the driveway.
You do not let the likes of Newlyn in, not even a foot in an open door.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not going to be possible - I don't have a garage or access to one unfortunately. To make matters worse, I have just done a TrustOnline search and there has indeed been a CCJ, dated November 2019, to my previous address, so it looks like all the letters went to the old house. They must have got my address very quickly after I moved house.
I will phone the bailiffs tomorrow and see if they are willing to hold off until I get all this sorted, however if they say no, and my only choice is pay or get my belongings confiscated,
I will pay them. If I do this, I will get rid of the immediate threat, but once I've done that, can I still reverse this whole thing?
I can survive paying the money, that's not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things but I am very concerned about the long term implications of the CCJ.0
