  • Good luck SimonBck! We are in the process of buying our first home too and I remember well the anxious wait to hear back from the EA. I assume they will probably be closed today, but fingers crossed tomorrow you will have something to celebrate.

    EA has come back and said "
    I still haven’t had a call back as yet, but I have cancelled the viewings taking place tomorrow, so only you and 3 others have viewed out of the several booked. "
    Will have to until wait until monday to see what is happening now.

    Still nothing from the EA. I asked for him to call me but nothing. Not sure what the hold up could be.

    Offer accepted! House is coming off the market. 2 other buyers offered guide price (5k above ours). Seller chose us as we are FTB's.

    A long way to go still but it is one step closer. :j
    Does anyone have a timeline of when we will need to start parting with our cash? Ie valuation, solicitor, first mortgage payment etc.
