EASYJET discrimination

If this is so important to you and the child, pay the money for the seats and done with it.
As others have said, you are not the only one who need these seats.
If my need was that great, I would pay for the seats, thus removing all the anxiety that have been caused by writing that long letter which may get you nowhere, and increased your anxiety even more.0 -
as per the link in post 4 it appears that, since end November there is no option to prebook seats on an 'easyJet holiday' only to select at T-30 days (the preNovember terms do mention prebooking/paying for seat allocation but not after end Nov)
this post does not appear to be about free seats v's paid seat allocation.
it is about being able to pay to select as soon as you book on a flight-only booking but you cannot pay to book on a holiday booking...only select 30 days before the flight (if I have understood correctly)0 -

First come, first served. What other way could there be?0 -

I think you have.
So the airline has chosen, for commercial reasons, to make a particular facility available to one class of customer - which they are quite entitled to do!
They might get a heavier baggage entitlement too, maybe that will be the OP's next complaint!0 -
Easyjet Holidays appears to be a separate trading entity to Easyjet the flight entity.
Therefore you have to abide by the seating conditions of the entity you booked with and not the flight side
ETAeasyJet holidays Limited. Hence the reason for different seat booking conditions.0 -
What happens when your daughter goes to school?
I'm another one who can't see why she doesn't sit with the other adult. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I should have quoted at the time that my response was related to the comment below - don't think OP can pay even if they wanted to. (I agree not discrimination)If this is so important to you and the child, pay the money for the seats and done with it.0 -

Adopted children suffer due to past trauma, in this instance my daughter suffers anxiety if moved away from me. All other seats a chil cannot sit in as all other deemed emergency exit.
At time of booking those seats are free being 8 months away.
It is not an unreasonable request, but the wider point still stands holiday customers are discriminated against flight only customers...why?
Would your daughter not be comfortable with the other adult you are going on holiday with?,
to be honest this sounds more about you than your daughter,I do understand its not how you want things to be but maybe it is not going to be as bad as you think, perhaps she could sit behind you if those seats are not available.
I hope you resolve this but I think you need to be more specific about why you need the seat with extra legroom etc rather than just saying health issues,my friend has a bad condition where she has to be near a toilet at all times and the airlines are always really helpful.
Best of luck in sorting it out.0 -
Op, could you cancel, then book the flights separately as direct flights allow you to chose the seats.
Then go online and book the hotel directly?0
