Hi everyone, I love this thread.
How and what can I do with a small round goats cheese ? It came in a cheese hamper at Xmas, and is a week out of date but still wrapped up.
I usually make a cheese and onion flan, (no pastry) with all the scraps of unwanted cheese at the end of the week, but not sure about the goats cheese.

Just before Christmas I bought 5 large pannetone for 10p each.  After making loads of bread pudding and one bread and butter pudding I still have 2 left.  Has anyone got any ideas for something a bit different? I don't eat it myself so it's down to OH to use it all up!

  • Tiramisu or whizz it into crumbs and use as a crumble topping?
  • Recently I have been very successful - no food binned or wasted 🥳. Los have been utilised within 2 days rather than being frozen 😉 especially useful as I need to defrost my freezer 😉 Using up bits & bobs & droopy vegetables to make soups.
