Cashed out £6.40 from prolific and added it to the OP pot, bringing the total to £447.10. Completed Day 4 of the food diary today, which caries an additional bonus for completing all 4 days. I'm not sure what useful information they're actually going to get from it, but hey! It's been kinda fun.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Hi, I haven't got a tumble drier, no room. Used the drier today and t shirts etc in for about 3 hrs, then put them over a clothes horse to finish off. which takes about 1 hr. the remaining socks and bits have now in the drier. Cost is supposed to be about 7p an hour.2

Thanks clyndu, that is useful!
I am setting myself a challenge. I am going to list one item to sell on fleabay every day in October. Or at least, I'm going to trywe certainly have enough stuff that is in "the fleabay pile" (which isn't a pile so much as a series of piles and bags and boxes scattered in various locations around the house) but I find listing on fleabay really overwhelming, and therefore will generally choose not to rather than actually doing it. It's not good for the potential income and it's not good for the clutter that we desperately need gone. I am hoping that one item a day isn't too overwhelming. I've listed 2 things this evening. I don't feel good, but I do feel like it's a step in the right direction.

Well. Today is ugh. I did not sleep well as my nose was completely blocked and I kept waking up with horrific dry mouth from breathing with my mouth open 😣 I've had a lingering headache as a result, and basically slobbed on the sofa in comfy clothes all day and watched TV. It's also been dull and raining steadily all day, which pretty effectively puts a damper on any positive feelings anyway. Luckily dinner tonight is a portion of batch cooked chilli from the freezer, plus probably some rice, so lovely and low effort.
One productive thing I did do today was request a name change on PayPal. I've requested it before but didnt have the right documents, and then kept forgetting and remembering at inconvenient times, so set myself a reminder to change it at the end of September after our annual water bill arrived. Of course, despite requesting 3 documents (ID, proof of address, proof of name change) they only have the facility to upload one document with your request? Obviously 🤷♀️ anyway, hopefully that'll finally get changed. It's only been 4 years since I changed my name lol.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

This morning I accidentally cleaned half the kitchen. In that, I had no intention of cleaning the kitchen when I got up, but then a wooden chopping board needed washing, and the sink was dirty, and then somehow I had:
• scrubbed the whole sink and draining board
• pulled everything off the worktops and scrubbed them and put it all back
• sharpened all the knives
• scrubbed the floor under the cat's food plate and the drawer front by where he eats and the front of the washing machine and the front of the tea station cupboard with Clinell wipes
• scrubbed the draining racks and the trivet that sits by the cooker
• emptied the bin, and then cleaned the bin inside and out (!!!)
And nobody else was even awake yet! 😂😂 (they all slept in!)
This afternoon I figured I should finish the job so I cleaned the hob, the splashback and the utensil hooks behind the hob too.
I'm knackered now, but my kitchen looks 👌Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Today's jobs:
- meal plan
- currently working out whether we can get Nando's in tonight cuz I hate cooking on my birthdaythe answer is yes
- grocery shopping done and entered a survey/prize draw thing for £100 of Ald1 vouchers
- buy more rabbit food from LPS - it's on special offer until midnight tomorrow (was hoping to wait until after the CC tickover for this as our pet spending has been high this month - I am going to have to dip into another pot to cover it and I hate doing that!)
- hang washing out - thankfully the weather is dry today as we changed all the kids bedding over the weekend
- ring chiro to clarify if I can go this week
- list 3 things on eBay because despite making a plan I completely forgot about it (accidentally? on purpose? who knows?)
- post an item of clothing I'm swapping with someone else!
Posting here for accountability.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

I have bought myself a couple of bottles of strawberry and lime cider from Ald1, and a hot chocolate fudge cake from Tesc0 that says "4.5 minutes to cook from frozen in the microwave". We don't have a microwave
whoops! Together with my Nando's takeaway I reckon that'll be *chef's kiss*
On a less fun note, while I was out shopping Small Small slipped in the shower and banged her head and has, I think, given herself a mild concussion. So fingers crossed it is just mild, and that we don't need to visit A&E.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
