Howdy !
I took the advice from some good folk here and did the above .
I managed to workout how to set it all up . With this laptop, I have to press esc/f12 for it to boot up on windows.
It is supposed to come with windows 10 . This is possible if I peel off the code on the sticker at the bottom of the laptop .
Only problem is , the code doesn't work after entering it so many times
I sent an email to itzoo on Saturday , and as yet haven't heard anything . I don't want to appear too jumpy as I think 48 hrs or so should be allowed for a response .
I was pointed in the direction of itzoo , and told that they are a reputable company .
Any advice how to proceed ?
Thanks

What does it mean? Windows 10 stickers don't have codes. Also, if the laptop is already Windows 10, you don't need any code to re-install Windows.
When I got the laptop, itzoo sent a video showing how to get windows 10 . I did the above and the code won't work .
It means I haven't got windows 10 yet . I think they should send me a code ,or talk me through where I may or may be not going wrong . There is a sticker and on the sticker is a tab that has to be torn and the code is on that .0 -
I've just received a marketing email from them . I went onto their page and went to ' contact us' and described the issue .
Just received a confirmation from info@hulkapps.com
So hopefully they'll respond and sort out the problem0 -
I've received an email from Kathryn. She asked me to send photo of sticker. I've done that , and am awaiting response ..0

you do not need a windows 10 key to install, and even use it. After 30 day it nags you, think it disables a few features, but in most cases it is still useable.
What you do need is a usb /stick/key/drive/ thumb drive etc about, 8GB or more in size. This drive will format and wipe existing data on that drive.
Then you follow either of the links below. Read them both. Since they both describe the same task follow the one you find the easiest to read. Kathryn's notes will probably be very similar, but the windows is continually being updated so there will be slight variances.

and the film https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hj7T_Rr4bDE
One word of caution, during thing the installation do not connect it to a network, or the wifi, because if you do it will want a Microsoft login, and possibly force you to register with them. This is done so you can pay MS money for using their store, which in some cases you can download elsewhere legally from the developers sites for for free (paintDotnet from https://www.getpaint.net).
once it finishes installation, connect it to the internet, download and run https://hddscan.com/ - if your disk is not ssd.
Also various updates over the next few days will probably install and the laptop need a reboot0 -
Thanks for this , that .
Looks like I'll have to get usb drive . I'll look into this with more detail later.
What I will say though , is that it does seem a pita compared to the "easy " video they sent showing how to tap a few numbers in .
It'll be interesting to see what Kathryn comes back with ..0 -
If windows 10 was already installed then you would not need a licence key as it would recognise the licence from the motherboard.
You should just be able to download the current windows image off the microsoft site to USB and install it.0 -
Why does the OP need to reinstall Windows 10 if he already has Windows 10 on it? (Other than to do a clean install and remove any "bloat"). Or have I misread the OP?0

Why? Did you ask them about that?
Seems to me that you need to go into BIOS setup to change the Boot Order, in so that the internal HDD is first in line to Boot.
In addition to this, it is unclear as to what you are currently running. It is Windows 7 or 8? I ask, as if you are already running Windows 10, why are you searching for a product key?
Further to this, you may not need a key at all, dependent on the current licencing of the device.
But since you have not posted any of the details of the device, I don't know why you expect to get accurate advice.0 -

I was under the impression that it windows was not working, and stuck at the license key? Follow Kathryn's instruction first though.0
