Clearing cookies on Firefox and Safari for the mac

In my version of Firefox (for the mac, and the most recent version. 2.0.0.11)
    To delete cookies,
    -go to the Tools Menu
    -click 'Clear Private Data.
A pop up box appears, and make sure the Cookies box is ticked (and anything else you want to get rid of!)
-click on 'Clear Private Data Now' Button.
    And that's your cookies gone!

Now, on Safari (again, most recent version 3.0.4) to remove cookies,
-Click on Safari's button on the menu bar (it'll be Safari in bold type, directly to the right of the apple logo button). There you --From the drop down menu, choose 'Preferences'.
    - Choose 'Security' (denoted by a padlock icon), and 'Show Cookies'.
    - Select one or more cookies and click remove, or click 'remove all'.
When you are finished, click done.

Suggestion: Use one browser, probably Firefox for your 'daily clicks' rather than both, as it seems slightly quicker to delete the cookies! :T

Glad to be motivating everyone - as you can see, anyone with a few months clicking behind them is well on their way so there's no day like today to make a start! ;)

  • I don't understand how people are making £600 in a few months from clicking... I mean, I've worked out that the clicks I do on three sites amount to £11/week (not to be sniffed at I know) but still that's £44 a month max. You lot must really be going for it on every single site!

This year from cashback sites I've made £261.00 - that includes small purchases, signups and daily clicks when I could be bothered to do them.
  • Well i got shopping online from tesco that adds up and bought items from boots and hmv all online. I also got my home insurance and car insurance. Did all the sign ups and joined a couple of the bingo groups played one game and then havent bothered again but some of them are £30 for joining.

  • ^ahh right, i thought you meant you'd got all that just from clicking :p x
  • Hi Eagerlearner ,
I can't find all the through sites on your list & some sites won't connect. I've tried searching I must be looking in wrong places? Also the email from pigsback did
not have your bottom link (as in a screenshot I saw somewhere on this huge site).
Also (as I'm here :) ) lots of through sites require more personal info, is this usual?
Sorry it's all new to me, wannabe moneymakingmum

I've only just started & some money doesn't get credited for a few days- maybe not at all. shopping.com was instant but kelkoo didn't give me anything & at first I thought it wasn't working.
  • Is anyone else having problems with HighStreet Web tracking four times on Quidco? I hope they don't ban me as I'm only searching twice like it advises!:rolleyes:
