just looking at your totals EagerLearner and I would certainly like to be able to amount similar totals for next Xmas...lol
is that just over the year and are all the details to be able to do likewise in the guide or are the places you use by invitation only
I have joined Quidco today but unsure of which ones to click on as the all seem to be for spending money and getting a percentage back
or maybe I am doing things wrong

Hi EL,
Sent you a Pm for the guide (let me know if it never got there), however one question. I understand about clearing cookies or using firefox etc and that the amoiunt is made up from different sites. However, can you search for the same thing on all the sites on the same day?
I.E. search for "cans of coke" (there are two empty in front of me) on website A B C and D all on the same day without any tracking problems.
£2 a day dont sound much, but then its £60 a month or £700ish a year - go quite a way to paying debts off.
CheersNo Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

On quidco, click on general shopping on left side, then click price comparison in the drop down menuNo Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Oscar - the answer is yes, so long as you clear your cookies between each cashback site (or even on the same cashback site, if there are 2 clicks to be had from the same provider, ie, High St web for example).
whitetigress333 - the guide does explain more, but essentially, you click on links which you get paid a few pence to do. There is nothing more to it, and by doing so you may find products that you did not know about, which is why the sites pay you to click. I found a few of my Xmas pressies that way, so will def keep an eye out for birthday presents too.
Of course this is something that will take time, and anyone starting this for 2008 should think long term - ie: any money made will be saved up and used towards Xmas 2008 (see the 'Celebrate Christmas for Free' challenge), or a weekend away, special treat etc.MFW #185

Yes that is why I signed up for quidco so it helps me get the money for Xmas 2008
my aim is to live frugally and use what I save to pay off debts and if i can earn money on clicking for xmas then 2009 will be a good year without debt
I have done quiet a few clicks on the quidco is there anyother sites that you can do same on or are they all the same?
I notice you have a very large figure from food and home planning, is that a job you do or is it some other site
sorry for all the questions but I really want to succede at this and not have a xmas like we have just had relying on the generosity of othersMy GoalsTo be debt free by end of yearTo lose 1 stone by easterWill post debts as soon as i discover the full impact 0uch!!To earn £500 taking in sewing= Earned £6 today=Total £6Joined2008 Olympic Challenge Siver - starts 08/01/08Live on £3920 in 2008 #002Sealed Pot Challenge #156The DFW "Celebrate Christmas for free in 2008" ChallengeGrocery Challenge - January £180 Budget - £0 Spent0 -
Hi whitetigeress - have you pm'd me your e-mail? Because once you see the guide it will make more sense, because There are lots of sites listed and Quidco is just one of them (and not the biggest earner, but still it all counts).
The food and home savings I have made in my signature are just by planning what we buy more carefully and doing the Shopping Challenges on MSE etc. I always make a list before shopping and I never shop when I am hungry - 'tis the work of the devil!MFW #185

Hi, still enthusiastic but not connecting to most of the throughsites... so no points / pennies. Also sometimes it says something like click tradedoubler in url bar. I am deleting cookies but it seems 'they're onto me'
Do you use different email addresses for different sites?
Sorry if this sounds obvious but I'm not making amounts on your tip sheet & I can't find some throughlinks at all. Any ideas helpful mse ers?
Happy new year0 -
Hi MMM, are you clearing cookies and following the guide?
I find that saving each site as a favourite helps, in the order they are listed in the guide.
So long as you are clearing your cookies, and clicking all the way through to the third party site, the amount will track it just may take a while.
I use the same e-mail address for all sites to keep things simple. Plus I only do it 4 days per week, but others may have more time + may purchase via the sites.MFW #185
