Thanks for the advice about Firefox - I can see how to clear cookies on that one.
Just got £11 on pigsback for train ticket deal with SW Trains:) Have to buy the ticket anyway so with cheap family railcard that I saw recommended on here a few months back and pigsback deal I'm really happy.

My clicking routine takes me 30 mins at the moment and I don't do all of them.

    Hi EL
I've sent you a PM with my email address in, would be very grateful for the shared wisdom - it's really generous of you to spend your time helping others like this.:A
Looking forward to joining the clicking fun! :j x

  • Hi all,

Just to say sorry to anyone who I haven't replied to their pm's yet - also to answer a few questions:

How long does the routine take?

That really depends on if you do all the clicks - I find once you get the gist of it it shoul dbe 20-25 mins max for all the clicks. Of course if you choose to do less then it will take less time, but will also take you longer to accumulate the free cash across the various sites.

    When do I get paid?

Each site has a different withdrawal limit, so it really depends how fast you earn your limit as such. Also depends on whether you just click for cash or also buy goods, as the more you buy the more cashback you will make therefore the quicker you will reach your withdrawal limit per site. Then once you hit that limit, so long as you have entered your BACS details on the cashback site, they either pay you automatically each month, or you manually request payment. Moneybackmadness do a payment run per month, as do Quidco, but a site like Loyalty Shopper for example will only pay if you request payment.

Hope this helps, will add more info as I think of it but feel free to ask questions or offer tips! Thanks vancafc for your research for my best sites list above.

Hi all, an important message for anyone who is a Quidco member.

    WARNING

I received 4 'phishing' e-mails yesterday claiming to be from Quidco about clicking on a link to see responses to enquiries I had logged. Phishing is what criminals do to gain your passwords and usernames - they send an e-mail that looks like one you would normally get from your bank, but get you to click on another address that looks like your banks website for example, so you will enter your personal info. They then use this to get to your real account and steal from you.

The best way to check if an internet address within an e-mail is to hover over it without clicking to see what the address is.

When I hovered over the fake Quidco address in the e-mail they were asking me to click on it was a spoof address - something like 'satura.quidco.com' instead of 'www.quidco.com' - please be careful not to click any of these and enter any information as they would no doubt use it to access your Quidco account. So many members make big earnings that it's almost like someone accessing your bank account.

EDIT: >>>>>> 05-12-07 - I contacted Quidco about this and apparently it is all ok - they do have a different server address that is sometimes used. Nevertheless, it did not explain the amount of e-mails I had had! They praised me for being vigiland but assured me all was well... so no fear guys!

  • Hi all,

Thanks to EL for the guide and adivce.

I've joined pigsback and already use quidco. I don't think I'm going to have time to join up to everything straight away, as I'm in the process of moving to a new city and moving in with bf at the same time. Hoping to start asap tho!!

    BTW
  • Hi EL (and everyone else) :rudolf:

Many thanks for sending me your guide.

I am already member of a few click sites (including pigsback) but some on your list i am not a member of. I have just joined moneybackmadness using your referral link as way of thanks. :D

    Well must get clicking...... :j:santa2:

    Thanks again EL

I got two of these this morning. I thought it odd as I have 3 tickets on the go at the moment but I know I haven't had any update on them recently. I did click on one of the links but it said 'you must be logged in' and something didn't feel right so I closed it down and went to the real Quidco where I could see I didn't have any updates.

As I didn't enter any details I should be ok but I'm going to change my account details anyway to an account I never use which doesn't have an overdraft facility or debit card - just in case.

Hopefully I have replied to everyone via PM that needed the guide and you have had your e-mail now. Please do post any questions and I will try to drop by tomorrow (Mr EL gives me funny looks if I spend too long on here and not giving him enough attention :D)

I am really inspired by the many messages I have had explaining what the extra cash will be used for - from paying off debt, to challenges, to saving for something special and so much more - keep it going guys! :T

    Challenge
How many now using this '£2 a day guide' are also doing the 'December Challenge' everyone keeps talking about and what's the aim - £10 a day is it? Sounds exciting!

    Hi EL -

just a quick one - for a number of the sites, I've been unable to find quite a few of the named daily clicks - do the sites change the click regularly, or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks :)
