Try what I describe in this post. At a minimum if you aren't already getting new private message notifications, change something. If you change email and start to get them you should be OK. See the first post in the topic if you can't get at least that far.

It means that you appear unlikely to get the password reset email needed to use the new forum with your little_green account. Your account will be transferred but that won't do you any good if you can't use it.

Do you get private message notifications? Try sending yourself one. If you don't, try telling the forum to use an address on a different email service and prove you get them on that. If you don't, ask the forum team for help.

You might also as a further fallback

1. visit https://tools.wmflabs.org/text2hash/ and type a passphrase and/or contact details in the first box and save the contents of this box exactly
2. copy and paste the contents of the hash box into your profile but delete the final 20 characters
3. optionally but recommended, PM yourself here a copy of both boxes

At that point you can prove your identity to MSE abundantly well by telling them the contents of the first box if it's a passphrase or by them using any contact details provided in it. And they can just check the PM themselves and use contact instructions.
