WiFi dropping

WPS is just a 'convenient' way for you to connect devices to your home network by pressing a button instead of entering the wifi passkey ..


Unfortunately though, it has a SEVERE vulnerability that allows anyone who knows how to, to crack your wifi with ease from outside your premises, without ever touching that button ..

Just tried disabling the WPS and got the error message again saying as we have sky q we should leave it on

That's a bit bad


So basically when im wardriving next, all I have to do is look for sky dishes


Don't worry, im sure you will be fine - -its unlikely that you have someone living close with the capabilities to exploit that.. It just would have been nice to have the choice I suppose

That is diabolical, I expect that they also expect upnp to be on too :eek:
It's like saying ok leave you back door unlocked just in case we need to access your fridge/underwear and sock drawer too

I will be calling them now I know what the threats are
