Morning all, Bonne Ann!e!
I'm back in after the holidays and boy does the house need it. Christmas week with both DDs home and then a week away skiing but 5 friends all stopping with us on the way back at the weekend has taken its toll.
Feeling motivated and off to a reasonable start. No great resolutions but happy to accept that any prgress is great.
Christmas decorations removed and packed up whilst chap was here servicing the boiler.
Playroom/dining room is looking great as got friends on Saturday to move the big snooker/dining table in and then yesterday popped into big blue/yellow shop once we'd dropped DD2 at airport and bought a tall vase to keep cues in. Really looking good so hope to keep it that way. Rest of the place not too untidy but needs a deep clean. Hoping to start a big contract this month so might then treat myself and have someone come in and deep clean to get me back on track.
Off to put WM on and do a few bits. (loads of admin is now urgent)0 -
Morning all
Thanks to this thread, my kitchen is looking pretty darn fine already and has taken me just a little while to make it sparkling! Don't get me wrong- there's still work to do, but in comparison to usual, it looks a-may-zing.
Still sorting, oiling, decorating, blitzing etc. in the dining room this month, so just going to feed the pooches, do some ironing whilst I listen to my audiobook, then back with the linseed oil and paintbrush...

Round 3 completed +
10 foil thingies rinsed & recycled - the thingies that shop bought mince pies come in
S&S draining board and visible work top - at least some is now visible
WM is at the end of its cycle - I'll peg out those towels and bring in the first load that I pegged out earlier: should be dry, will just need warming up :rotfl:
I don't think it's ever going to be proper daylight today!
Better see what we're having for lunch next.

Pottering slowly along here, but pleased to see that recycling bin is now full and plenty already in the normal bin too. Bits and bobs being thrown out of kitchen cupboards. WM is on, loads more to do.
Need to meal plan and try and empty some stuf out of the freezer
Also need to be more active if slinky is to hapen0 -
Morning, everyone; I want to check with this list posted yesterday - is that one room for the whole week or is there a new list for tomorrow's room? I'm considering my planning for it this week.0
