Morning all. Hope things get sorted for you JoJo.

Have woken with a headache so parrots taken and hopefully it won't last too long.

Will be plodding mostly today and will try to report back later with progress.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

Hope you feel better soon JoJo x

Planning a bit of a plodding day here too I think, feeling a bit tired. Dailies will be done and we have a pork joint that I’ve defrosted for supper tonight, it’s pretty big so I will see if I can get a few more meals out of it!

It’s looking quite bright at the moment, will get some washing done and hopefully put it out to dry, will get out for a walk as well.

Have a good day all x
  • JoJo hope things improve, it was interesting how DSs work were very dismissive of his medical issues until the word cancer was mentioned. Employers have got a lot to learn about living with a long term health condition. I know that DS is far more committed to his job that a lot of his colleagues, he just needs a bit of support when his Crohns flares up. We will be looking for an alternative to Infliximab at some stage, but that's something for another day.

Have slept for too long, feel groggy. Need to tackle a nasty looking frog in the shape of my study folder for the qualification which I have just over a month to finish. Dont want to think about this at the moment but I need to make a plan for what I am going to do with it.

It's grey and damp here, hope everyone has a nice Sunday, I am off to sort out morning medication and make more coffee x

Me again. Dailies are done, kitchen sink is sparkling, indoor plants and flowers sorted and bathrooms s&sd. No dog walk yet as it is pouring with rain. Head still fragile.

    Good morning

Bathroom cleaned. En-suite s&s. Waiting for DH to stop faffing so that I can run the vacuum cleaner around upstairs. Feeling “not right”, I might take a walk to the allotment to clear my head.
  • Hi all

Paid stuff was ok last night, not as busy as usual but it's January so that's to be expected. Hung a load on the winterdyke when I got in and folded the dry stuff earlier. WM is on its second load, first one has been hung up or stuck in the dryer as needed.
My telly has given in. It's been on its last legs for ages. Don't know that I want to replace it tbh. OH watches it but only stays over once or twice a week, DD has her own and I don't bother with it. It's just a dust collector!

Planning on getting the bathroom done at some point but my book is shouting on me.:o

Having a bit of a rough weekend, but I managed to get ahead with some washing yesterday (washed Mr Wolf's jeans last night instead of leaving them til this morning) and having told him off for dozing in front of the pc AGAIN, and told him since he obviously wasn't reading the dross on the screen, to turn it off and find something else to do. So he volunteered to vacuum. I'll take that as a victory on two counts! :D

Had hoped to wash my hair this morning, but felt too washed out, so that'll have to wait til tomorrow.

GWS vibes to Jojo; and I've clearly missed the news re YSL's DS, so mybest wishes to him also.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Have snoozed and attempted two dog walks but they weren't interested. Head still foggy.

  • Busy busy week - what with paid stuff (and a whole load of stress that made me sick) plus dad in hospital (he is doing well all things considered) and coping with mum......I have a migraine lurking.
However, the house is clean in the fluttered bits, things will get better and I have a lovely clean bed to rest in. Dogs currently in kitchen keeping their muddy paws in one area
Hugs to all and keep posting. I like the little tips I pick up from you all xx

Good to hear from you, Jojo. Gentle (((hugs))) and GWS vibes xx

I couldn't agree with you more, YL. Productivity has become the be-all and end-all of commerce (and education ) - or perhaps it was always the case, and it's just got more demanding as the world speeds up - and commitment / reliability are too frequently sidelined. Glad your DS is responding well to treatment xx

Hope the fresh air did you good, Fayolle xx

I had a lovely cuddle with my littlest goddaughter this morning. She is a dab hand at removing specs!

No flying done today except for food shopping, cooking soup for lunch and a meal this evening, but I decluttered almost 2 hours' nap after Rosie's walk :o

The week ahead looks busy, so I must plan ahead. At least I start with a clean house. I need to tidy the utility, now that the giant box of packaging has gone. Only 4 little piles of flingage left on the DR table now, awaiting meetings with the recipients, and 3 things in my car to be delivered.

Will see you on the new thread. Hope everyone has a good start to the week xx
