Selling home, no viewings

People might overlook 2k, maybe, but they won`t view if it`s 20k too high.0

Don’t stress about the agent. I have sold 3 times hassle free through PB with no issues and lots of viewings and also had untold nightmares with umpteen “good local EA”. The issue is by the looks of it, you’re overpriced for the area. But I would certainly give it a bit of time before doing anything - people are only just over Christmas lol
Good luck!£2 Savers Club 2020 no. 90 -
I would sell the beach side lifestyle. Re take the pictures and add a sunset picture, a picture of the beach. Do a cute beach cottage garden in front and take a picture of that. It would be perfect with the blue picket fence.
I would also go down to the allotment and talk to people there. Make yourself known and see if you can get bumped up the list.
Easier to just drop the price, pictures of sunsets etc. while overpriced will just annoy people and they will look at something else.0 -

Some posters on here claim that no one views houses over the festive season?0 -
Originally purchased for 100k so a big price jump but it has been fully renovated, I went on the advise of the estate agents and the estimates given. It was disgusting when I moved in and needed a LOT of WORK, its been;
- rewired
- new central heating system and boiler
- new gas fire
- replastered and all bedrooms and living room redocorated (entire house redocorated actually)
- new bathroom suite
-new cloakroom toilet and sink
-upgraded some of the plumbing and put stop taps in to turn off water in some places
-new kitchen
- new doors internal and external
- new windows
- new fences in front / back garden0 -
I'm selling with purple bricks
We couldn't get viewings in couple of places we really likes from photos just because of PurpleBricks.
I am not saying this could be happening in your case, but PurpleBricks are not the best.
Good luck though...0 -
