I've got one! Just swiveled round on my chair and spotted an impulse buy from February, a money box, metal in the shape of a book from the post office circa 1954 in its original cardboard sleeve, sadly no key. £5 from local vintage/antique shop. I had one as a very small child that my grandma looked after and we emptied when decimal coinage came in, I forgot all about it and it must have got thrown out when her house was cleared. Everyone who has seen it has said 'what did you buy that for?', my answer 'cos I could!!'.

February passed with very few impulse buys for me - an orchid (£8) for my book room, more iris bulbs (60 for £12) and a faux taxidermy (fabric) elephant head reduced from £52 to £12 for a young family member's Easter gift (don't buy chocolate eggs/sweets and it's perfect for her jungle themed bedroom) ;)

    So a total spend of £32  :)

  • Tooth Whitening Kit.  I made the impluse decision to buy this on a recent visit for a check up. I have had it three months now but after reading reviews have gone off the idea!

Don't do it: it was very fashionable to go down this route in the noughties but the side effect of constantly whitening is that it erodes your tooth enamel and you end up with yellow-hued teeth instead of sparkly white. So leave it be and chalk it down to experience.

For the best dental heath, buy an oscillating toothbrush and floss.

So much to read, so little time.

I think I may have to keep of the internet. Todays impulse buys are a tweed handbag and a top from Joules not very money saving at all but I did get 40% off the top and free delivery. I am not to be trusted.  :#
