Impulse buys

Managed to spend over an hour in Homesense without being tempted to buy anything yesterday
Did get drawn in by some hugely reduced bulbs elsewhere (iris, fritillaria & alliums) and got £32 worth for £8.50.....its a drop in the ocean when you look at the size of garden we have to fill, but every little helps, lol!
Total spent on impulse buys during January £36.50*
*Actually, DH impulse bought a large piece of art for our kitchen chimney breast this morning. It was in the clearance section at Leekes, marked down from £110 to £40......but it's too small so will be going back for a refund tomorrow!Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Visited TKMax yesterday looking for a wall clock, left with a pair of silver earrings, a lovely glass bowl and a new laundry basket £34 in total! No clock though!!:rotfl:Slightly bitter3

Sunglasses for 5euro in a Street market here in Spain. I look like a movie star according to the husband! He needs to get his glasses checked2

A dark blue “le creuset” jug from TKMaxx. Probably holds about one and a half liters. No idea if I will really use it but the daffodils (£1 from Asda ) look fab in it and , in my defense, I did delete all the emails from Hobbs trying to tempt me to buy all sorts. So, I figure, the jug was £12 but it may have saved me from spending £300\400 on dresses!3

Popped to Homesense with DH last Wednesday, looking for gift inspiration for my upcoming birthday, lol!
It's a huge store yet I wasn't tempted by anything except a card for myself (from DH) and one for a dear friend whose birthday is in a couple of months. Total spend under £4. Not really sure those count as impulse buys!
Did get a few more dwarf irises (£10) from B&M earlier in the week, but as we've a huge garden to fill I wouldn't class those as impulse buys either, just part and parcel of our landscaping project
Otherwise, nothing to report here.....Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

I had an impulse buy a couple of weeks ago - was away for work and found myself in what must be the most boring city in the country. So I entertained myself that evening with a quick trip to Asda, found some undies to wear beneath a T-shirt (I had bought the same style before and was surprised at the quality) for just £2 in my size, so bought two. Here's the rub: it was a fetching shade of pineNo man is worth crawling on this earth.

Today's brilliant impulse buy was a soft fleece dressing gown from Aldi for just....drumroll.....99p! One of those finds that is just too good to be true.
The downside is that its a large size, but I intend to wrap myself up in it when watching TV during cool evenings so its ideal for this purpose. Its gone straight into the WM so its first outing will be tomorrowNo man is worth crawling on this earth.

I've kept track of all my impulse buys in February, and I've bought quite a bit:
- Waterfall thick knitted jacket - worn to work the very next week
- Bravissimo trench coat for spring - will get an outing tomorrow
- Coast palazzo pants, a perfect fit and worn with above-mentioned jacket
- Anne de Lancey zipped fleece - gifted to my mum
- BNWT silver rain parka
- 8 large board placemats and matching coasters, BNWT
- Large JD sports mug (I have a feeling this came free with a BHS order but looked unused)
- Costa coffee cup (probably taken from a branch by stealth - why would anyone do that?!)
- BNWT microwave omelette maker (no idea why, I don't eat eggs - ok I do know why, it was all of 25p)
- 2 BN T-shirt bras from Asda
- 3 paperbacks
- Silicone 3D dinosaur baking mould, already used to great artistic effect with my niece
- Jumper dress for said niece
- Another rain parka (I must have eight of these now in different colours, but they are so light and can be Kondo'd in my handbag in case of rain)
- Per Una blouse for my mum
- Viyella dress - worn to great admiration
- 4 dressy scarves, one for me and three for my mum
- Small windscreen scraper (we haven't had ice yet)
- Golden lit box that matches my sitting room decor (currently full of Quality Street)
- 2 paperbacks
- 5 paperbacks, including one that I already had that was gifted to a friend
- Large ceramic travel mug (I have many in a standard size which I use regularly, this is the first big one I've found)
- BN dressing gown from Aldi
- BNWT dinosaur biscuit cutter - intention to use with niece
- Party dress for niece, she will look like a little princess
- BNWT Thinsulate gloves, you can never have enough
- Wallis summer dress
No man is worth crawling on this earth.
