Found among dds' toys: a Happy Christmas hanger, which is now with its mates in the attic.ragbag: 1 pair of dd1's socks, 1 pair of dd2's pants, 1 pair of my pyjama pants.donation: 1 longsleeve dd2 has worn only once, but was already too small. We're working on kondoing unwanted behaviour in dd2..... She is slowly loosing all her friends, because whenever she does not get her way, she will run away and cry so loud you can hear it 20 meters away..... And, of course, children playing means a lot of communication and compromise. At the moment, her only friend is her big sister, who is in the last year of primary school; some girls from year 4 (dd2 is in year 3) have warned her that she will need to make new friends, otherwise she will have none when dd1 has left primary school. We discussed it (including that it was kind of the y4's to point it out), and it seems to have landed in her brain. This week at my parents' will have helped curb her behaviour, I think (Mum is a social worker by training and by nature, specialising in children). In other news: I have mislaid or thrown out my pruning shears! I can't remember what I did with it, but it's not in its normal place and I'm very good at putting it back where it belongs (safely behind cupboard doors). Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.598

Four bags taken up to the fabric recycling centre, came away £6.40p richer - well, most of it is from DD's stuff so it is mostly her money.
Making washable throws from a set of bedding for our pale fabric recliner armchairs as ....well, you can guess! I feel a lot happier looking at neat throws than I do looking at the rubbed discoloured seat cushions that can't be removed or washed.
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.7 -
So lovely to hear the love for libraries on this thread!
I'm heading home later today with DD after her first week at the new school. With all the delays on the house purchase we've been staying in a B&B all week. OH has been at home since Wednesday and requested a list of jobs to help towards the eventual move and got a load of random bits decluttered this morning - the kind that tend to linger like taking old specs into an opticians, expired medicines to the pharmacy and sorting the tupperware. So small but important progress. Shed will have to wait for nicer weather. I think we'll start on the food cupboards this weekend. Been in the house less than 3 years but am sure there are some undesireable items lurking in dark corners. Might do a chazzer run tomorrow.Choose kind7 -
I love libraries and hate bookshops - but then, I am a bit odd...
I have kondoed an old sofa this week, the bin lorry gobbled it up - unfortunately, or fortunately as it was old, it wasn't fit for anything else. But as 2 new to me ones arrived a couple of weeks ago, I guess it doesn't count.
Need to get back on to the kondoing one a day at least thing..
I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Box ready for the chazzer but took one look out of the window and decided it could be taken next weekend
almost got blown over and I'm far from waif-like! Also listed 3 items for giveaway (1 being collected this afternoon) and 2 items for sale on FB. FB marketplace continues to drive me nuts, banning genuine items (basically anything with a label) which is getting in the way of my decluttering efforts. I don't want to eb@y as they've weighted the scales too far against sellers, so if you can't FB it doesn't leave many places to sell things
Very pleased with kitchen cupboard efforts. Got a boxful of massively out of date stuff to get rid of for next food waste bin day and some nice clean, decluttered cupboards ready for packing day.Choose kind10 -
Favourite local chazzer (for a hospice) is now open sundays so could take the box today in much sunnier surroundings. Two other items for giveaway should be gone by this afternoon. Spent 15 mins looking for the carkeys as the house is so chaotic atm, so DD late for her party
Not usually like this as am pretty good at sorting paperwork generally but with moving between old house and B&B, decluttering and random bits of dismantling and packing, the house is all over the place.

We picked up dds from my parents' this weekend, and dd2 has managed to spend her pocket money on more toys. Cheap toys with a 100 parts.... They already had double the money I wanted them to have, because husband said 'yes' when dd1 asked him if they could have €20 each for Spring Break! I told him he needed to check with me before agreeing to so much money! At least I insisted they pay for a cup of tea for my parents when out in town, which they did.Ragbag: 2 socks.donation: 2 more tights.Refound: 1 glove, but now the first one is lost!

2 big bags to the charity shop on Saturday. One with various things in from the big cupboard clear out and the other full of CDs. No point in keeping them when I haven't got a CD player!9

Some lever arch files from my long past uni days went this morning. I decided to keep the actual notes for now, not entirely sure why, but have put them into boxes for more efficient storage. Massive food waste out with the bins too with all the random stuff from the cupboard clearout. Still waiting for valuation from Vintage Ca$h Cow. I'm not holding out much hope but every penny is useful!Choose kind8
