    Afternoon all!

Must say I am really full up after my somewhat dodgy lunch!!

Daisy - well done on the old body jam - 9am???!!! I was thinking about doing a class at my gym. Maybe the beginners course in spinning - any good?? Thanks for the heads up re weights - any ideas for keeping fit at a desk with hand held weights? Normally stuck here from 8-4 at least every day mon to fri. So boring sometimes!!

Llama - far from fit I can tell you! Although working on it. You and Roxie have something in common with the old wine. I'm scared to start drinking it as might end up hooked too :-) Although I have to say my downfall is a bottle of beer - hence I don't buy them in so I can't drink them.

Wish this working day would be over!!!

    Hi,

Just catching up, well done on all the exercise (some of you!).

I've obviously just been sat at my desk all day doing nothing but eating and drinking cups of tea, so haven't really got a leg to stand on...

As for the wine, Roxie, I'd be as bad as you except I live on my own and think drinking by myself would be a very bad sign... problem is as soon as boyfriend is round, I crack the bottle open as I've got some justification! Never drink in the week though as I get up early and it just makes me feel like ****** (before you start counting stars to work out what that is, it's no specific word, just a generic expletive).

SI - don't fall for the nap suggestion! I had one on Saturday afternoon as I was feeling a bit sleepy after (like you) getting up early and doing loads of cleaning. Was half three when I lay on the sofa. Was half past eight (yes eight!) when I finally woke up, and I felt terrible!

Has anyone out there got the knack of daytime napping? I'd love some suggestions, as I often feel like i could do with a little pick me, but always end up having a proper sleep which just means I can't sleep that night. Or is coffee the best solution?!

Anyway, are you going to do updates at the end of the month Roxie? I can't wait until 1st, because that's the day I do my signature, and it should hopefully be down to just over £8,500 of debt. I know that's really awful, but it's really an achievement for me. Problem is it's just going to slowly. I know I am paying off loads each month, but my DFD just can't come quick enough because I want to be a saver!

OK, enough of me, enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

    xx

Must not eat chocolate. Must not eat chocolate. Must not eat chocolate!!!! There got it out of my system....I hope!! I was craving it big time so have sat down with a cuppa and laptop in attempt to not give in.

Dfw - no what you mean about the nap thing. I really suffer if I sleep during the day. OH says that I wake up like the Devil! I feel awful for it too. Your day sounds like mine, sat at desk drinking tea. However, I don't do the biscuits but only because I know if I did buy them they would be eaten within 24 hours!! Also work from home most days so have the added temptation of the kitchen cupboard being to hand, not so good for my wasteline I can tell you.

Daisy I can't beleive you do so much....actually I can! Have my Nan's funeral this Thurs but am going to sign up for Spinning next Thursday for definite. Gosh I feel super lazy not going to the gym now - not to mention the money I am wasting.

Right I think I have gotten over the urge for chocolate now so will sign off.

Have a nice evening everyone xx

you can get rid of loads of aggression and stress with spinning - take it out on the bike !!
talking of money wasting at the gym - i cant imagine how that must be - ive been lucky and was able to use the gym at college for free when i was studying then got a job at a gym so use the resources for nothing - having a free workout is great i can tell you !!
but they are only hour classes some ppl i know do a class in the morning then again in the evening or go to the gym after a class !!

cold dark wet and miserable here - kinda adding to my mood :(

oh and if you really cant do without choccie get some really good dark choccie and break one square into small pieces and just suck on it - i have some with orange in and it helps when only choc will do but so rich you cant eat much of it

    evening all!

hi dfw - glad you're on track!! I think the thing with naps is to just have 20mins - set an alarm. It 'll be hard when you first wake but you'll feel refreshed once you're up. Isnt it true that after 20 mins you go into a deep sleep and thats what makes you feel rubbish??
I should do an update at the end of each month - but tbh I'm too shamefaced to do the math :o:o Maybe I'll work up the courage!

daisy - OMG cant believe how much exercise you do!! bet you're well buff in the real world - I am in the virtual world ;)

hey SI - maltesers arent that bad are they? or just buy treat size? I dont like dark choc so that wouldnt work for me.

    Right - food today :o
    brekkie - oj, 2 crumpets
lunch - caesar salad (salad, low fat dressing, parmesan cheese)
    snack - bag maltesers, strawberries
dinner - chip cob with mushy peas from the chipshop :o:o:o

V naughty I know but by the time I'd taken coby to his swimming lesson, then to get boys hair cuts it was half 5 and we were hungry and tired and in town and suddenly I was in the chip shop. Nice thou.

Exercise - the davina. Its getting v boring now so i listen to the radio while doing it.

just about to get a nice long bath and indulge in closer magazine - wooohooo

Wow - took me ages to find you today

Just wanted to report that I have, once again, FAILED to do my DVD but in my defence I was back at work today - so short of time!

Any luck with the big save this week Roxie?

    Best wishes
