    Hi Roxie,

We are doing a mega holiday this year (hence my signature!) and are going to USA for 6 weeks on the 5th July! Can't wait, however, I have been promising myself that I will go as a size 12 since we booked (and now PAID :j for it) but STILL not really got my bum in gear!

The reason for my nag is that, we both work full time too and ate out a lot, not expensively, just a lot, this was our biggest saving when we cut back, and the main reason we reached our saving target, it was hard going, particularly, like you, we have 2 children , I spend all my non-working time ferrying them to and from clubs and it is a pain to go home and cook.

Perhaps just eat out twice a month? we cut back to once a month, but emergency measures were called for!

Def going to do my DVD now and stop lurking on here :D

    Have a good day

hi there - i'd lov to do a hol like that with the boys - sounds amazing!! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time, whatever your size - but it is nice to have that extra feel good factor.

Yep, re eating out - we are bad for it. We don't eat out during the week - its normally weekends. Our trouble is that its quite expensive places so £100 can be gone in one night. I think I just need to get into the mindset of 'thats £100 for savings' rather then just thinking, oh it'll be fine!

I'll be doing the Dav at 11 - so you're not alone!

Good luck with Davina in a mo Roxie - I am planning on the gym tonight after dinner.

Starting to feel everso sleepy now - not surprising really. Might go for 10min walk for fresh air at lunch just so I stay awake for the afternoon!!

Have a hap if you're working from home. 20 mins is all you need to refresh. Who's to know? - count it as 5 fag breaks that you dont take!

You guys done the DVD's yet??? I have combined a little exercise with my sitting at desk - dumbells for the arms. Sometimes my system can be so slow so did a few sets on the arms. Still doesn't burn the fat though!! Def have to hit they gym tonight.

Food wise been ok today -

    Breakfast - special K berries
    Snack - low fat yog.
Lunch - 1 beef crispy pancake with veg (broc and colli) Yes weird combination I know but we are trying to use up everything before we move in an attempt to save money and not waste food.

food sounds good so far SI - although !!!!!! to that lunch?? Crispy pancakes - how retro! Good on you for trying to use stuff u have but maybe drawn the limit at foodstuffs from the nineties - may be a tad out of date:p :D

Llama - I know - you get some horrible people lurking around. I had one slating me yesterday because I'd made a grammatical error in a thread title. Big woop woop. but the one on page 2 - I mean - how dare she? She read a few lines about me and think she knows me - nish dont think so.

Ha ha!! You'll laugh but my neighbour brought them round for me as her OH gets ill if he eats anything with onion in and these happen to have been beef and onion. Not complaining though - it was quite yummy!

Well done you on doing the dvd. Llama?????

wrong !! doing weights is a much more efficient way of burning fat
Muscle burns more fat. Weight training is increasingly recommended as a fat-busting tool because some experts say extra muscle burns more energy than body fat at rest, so if you develop more muscle and have a higher muscle to fat ratio than before, you must burn extra energy and more stored fat as a result. This is true and has been shown in metabolic studies.

in response to how am i ? pms'ing like mad and feeling such rage and anger against the world and his wife that it isnt funny
