Roxie I just want to say I love your diary, along with IA's it's one I always check to see what's going on, you have a really funny, light hearted writing style. Good luck with the hospital, as others have said it's always best to get these things checked out.

hi marksandsparksgal - thanks for reading!

Am sooo tired today. Tempted to just snuggle down under the duvet with a cup of tea. Ummm sounds good actually - cup of tea and OK mag while todds being corrupted by powerrangers on tv! dont know why I'm so tired!?
am going to see a bigger house today. not sure why exactly because i dont think we can realistically afford it at the minute. We could afford it but it would mean not having that 'cushion' of money in case our income goes down or something major happens that needs paying for and I'm not happy to lose that. But the house is gorgeous - its really big with 4 bedrooms and 3 reception rooms and a huge garden. I know this little house will be cramped with a baby. todd and coby will have to share a room so we can put baby in the nursery - and the real annoyance is that theres no where really to put the pram as theres no garage and only a tiny hallway space.i guess i'm torturing myself by looking at it because i think we need not to be overstretching ourself at the minute. still i can keep an eye on it incase dale has a drastic payrise or i sell a script - who knows - it may come down in price next year

cancelled the viewing. decided there's no point wasting my time and theres as we definately cant afford it. it would mean sacrificing piece of mind and i'd be constantly worrying in case something happened income wise. it means letting go of the dream of the 'perfect' nursery. i was looking at one of those sliding chairs to save my back during breastfeeding but i doubt it'll even fit into our tiny little room once a cot and drawers are in there. had just dreamed of everything being perfect for baby number 3 as we didn't have much money with coby and todd and they both had to make do (cobys cot cost £17 from a charity shop!). not that they minded one bit - its more for me really. i know this will be my last baby so i want to have all the things i couldn't have with the other two. still, if we moved to a bigger house we wouldn't be able to afford all the nice nursery things as we'd be spending all our money on the house. so its a bit of a no brainer really.
why cant someone invent something that allows a woman to duplicate herself so that one can go out and work and earn money and the other can stay at home and have babies? it'd solve problems for alot of people!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

aaargh - shopping cost £150. althoug, in my defence I've bought enough for main meals for at least a fortnight. I'm trying to go healthy so bought fish for a few meals which hiked the price up. did buy things like apple juice and yogurts, fruit, milkshake for the kids but once its gone its gone. the juice and yogs are dated to end of jan. still, am disappointed that I spent so much. The test will be how long it lasts. I'm trying to eat healthier and i find it so much more of a challenge as fresh salad/veg/fruit/fish goes off so quickly. it would be much easier/cheaper for me to fill the freezer with pizza etc. .
rushed around to get to the party - only to turn up and find noone there. i'd got the wrong day - its tomo. i dont know where my head is at the minute. next week will be a really stressful week as i've got the hospital calling to arrange me to go in, 2 other dr's appointments about other problems and lots of lessons building up to my test on sat. urgh, just typing it makes me wanna be sick! plus, one of the big channels really like a script i sent them and have asked me to redraft it with some alterations - its a big opportunity and I should be knuckling down to it this week but i've got so much on and any bits of spare time without the kids i just want to relax. to be honest, cant wait till this time next week!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Hi Roxie,
How's things? Been reading/catching up on your diary. Wow a lot happening for you.
Firstly good luck for hospital - I am sure it will all be ok and better to get these things checked out. Will be thinking of you.
Congratulations on deciding for baby no 3 - it really is baby boom at the moment. We have had a baby a month arrive through friends since last Septemeber. It's mad! Have friend due anytime now, one in Feb and then my very bestest friend is due end or March and after a long time trying so little miricle baby :-)
Hope you are feeling a bit better today. Glad the boys enjoyed gymnastics - my three eldest nephews all go too and they love it! I think it is so important for kids to be involved in such things and then once older they can have the option to carry it on or not if they wish. My nephew Dylan has just been picked by scouts out of his whole first school to attend tennis academy - bless him he is so excited!!
I hope your Ugg's turn up tomorrow for you - something to cheer you up!
Hope the finances are going well. It seems you are really watching/aware of what you are spending and that is a great start. This year for me is all about saving as much as possibly can alongside my DMP - hate having this hanging over me so going to cut back as much as I can and work all the overtime and put it away. My aim in a couple of years is to have enough saved to make full and final settlements or pay them all off in full. It's going to be hard work though.
Oooh money is horrible sometimes - there is always something. Still at least we are working towards something and we'll get there I am sure!
Take care xxx0
