Wow Roxie, well done for passing your driving test! I hated learning to drive but once I got my licence I sort of fell in love with motoring. It's soo lovely to be mobile - and soo nice to be able to give other people lifts.
To remember in our moneysaving prayers today - Roxie's driving instructor, horrified that his steady income from her has now vanished!:DHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Well done Roxie! :j0

Thanks guys - just took the boys out for a nice country walk - although spent £10 lunch in the cheap little cafe - lunch and drinks for four £10 - not bad I thought. christened the uggs - they've got a little mud on them but thats fine - they cant remain pristine (unless i never wore them!) and they're for comfort rather than 'best'.
am soooo relieved to have finally passed! its been hanging over me for 2 and half damn years but no more wooohoooo! unfortunately, theres no way we can justify the expense of an extra car just for me to run around in the daytime and dales car is a company car that i cant be insured on so looks like i tmay be a while before i'm fully mobile. oh well - at least my licesnse is there when i need it. :beer:MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Hi Roxie
Just wanted to say 'WELL DONE' for passing your test, I passed on my fourth attempt so I know how hard it is, even though I've been driving for 12 years now, I can still remember that day, and how happy I felt that I'd finally passed.

Congratulations!
I've been learning on and off for 4 years, and my second test is booked for the 18th Feb! So hopefully I'll feel the same relief in a few weeks!
So what are you going to do with the extra money? Prague or debts?!0
