not thatt much to report - spent 65p on a mag to treat myself. cant believe i've lost half a stone in a week - must be the stress lol!
costing up for Prague - I have £200 in Quidco I can put towards it -plus Jan/Feb birthdays money, plus Jan Feb eating out money so thats £600 there. So we may still be able to save some money in Jan and Feb
It sounds like you have plenty of money saved up to have a fabulous time while you are away just remember not to spend it all on the locally produced absinthe.

hi all, just about to go out but god am i shattered. swimming, shopping, gymnastics (not that i joined in!) and up and down the the school 4 times a day has totally done me in! who ever said stay at home mums do nothing but watch daytime tv! times like this i do think oooh if only i had a car but then it kind of defeats the object if you drive your kids up to swimming/football/gym etc! sooooo many people just dont get the irony in the jam packed leisure centre car park!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

hey all - have decided to do a prague/romantic weekend away hamper to spring the surprise trip on hubby. Think I'm gonna give it to him on valentines night so he has time to pack (we need to set of at 8am).
here are my ideas but if any one can think of anything else - part things that are specific clues to prague - that would be great!
snuggly flying socks
gloves for cold weather
half bottle champers
massage oil (wink)
cd for car on way to airport (our wedding song on it!)
travel money
guide book to prague
any ideas?? gonna get him to open them in order with the least obv leading up to the guide book.MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

condoms
unless you want a permanent holiday souvenir
I have 2 of those.
I stumbled on this thread the other day and have been enjoying reading thru. Congrats on passing your driving test. It took me 2 years and 5 attempts.
Do you have a vue cinema near you. I take mine to the w/end AM kids showing £1.50 for each child and accompanying adult gets in free. I take my own drink and sweets.;)

Can I also query your SOA on the first page cos you give child benefit and tax credits as £300 per month income. You have a similar gross income to ourselves and I'd have thought you'd have got around £116 CB and the family element of tax credits which is around £40 every 4 weeks. Is it a typo? You might have amended it later on as I haven't read thru this complete thread-yet.0
