Hi doodle - am feeling abit scared about it tbh. I was ill through both of my last pregnancies- needed a wheelchair at one point. Just hope things arent so bad this time. Not sure at all thats its the right thing but then again, cant imagine never having a new baby again. Hopefully all will be ok. Its amazing what us mums'll put ourselves through. I'm surprised anyone who gives birth once ever goes on to put themselves through it again!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Hi all
Well, went to the docs for her advice about trying for baby no3 and while I was there got her to check a mole thats been bothereing me for a while. Well, she seemed very concerned and has referred me urgently to the hospital for it removing/testing. So now I'm terrified. She's also said not to do anything baby wise until we get the results back.
Really scared - skin cancer is my biggest fear as I have alot of moles and I find it difficult to keep track of them all ie any changes etc. Wish I didn't have them but they're me and I just have to accept them. Just hope there's nothing more sinister about them.
The hosp are calling me on mon to arrange for me to go in. Gonna try and forget about it till then. There's no point in worrying eh?
Did go abit naughty though after the docs - I bought the boys a few new clothes (£33), bought a couple of magazines for me and took todd to a cafe for his lunch.
Taking the boys to gymnastics tonight, see if they like it. like to keep them (and myself!!) busy!MANAGED TO CLEAR A 3K OVERDRAFT IN ONE FRUGAL, SUPER CHARGED MONEY EARNING MONTH!:j

Hi roxie,
try not to think about the hospital too much (easier said than done i know)
i like you have loads of moles all different sizes shapes and colours so it is really hard to know if any have changed.
i was having a massage once and the theripst alarmed me by being concered about a mole i had on the top of my back, apparently because it was large and very dark, (scared the wits off me)
went and had it checked and had it removed, touch wood it was fine., just better to be sure (docs always have to be extra carefull)
take care xtotal -nov07 [strike]£25,526[/strike] jan08 [strike]£23,246[/strike] May08 [STRIKE]£21,171[/STRIKE] June 08 £20,9640 -
thanks all - yes, am going to put it out of my head for now (or try at least!!) No point worrying about it. Dale had a mole removed from his arm and it was fine so fingers crossed. I'm sure its just a precaution but cant help the odd stab of panic.
On a lighter note - a delivery van just turned up unexpectedly. I got all excited because I thought it was my uggs (there's a hold up in usa customs so they're taking an age:mad:)
But it wasn't - it was a toy from tomy for the boys to 'test'. I signed up on their website and hadn't thought much of it but thats a nice suprise. Its the flippin penguins game so nothing spectacular but hey, its for nothing! All I have to do is fill in a questionnaire and send back to tomy - the boys get to keep the game.
