Happy new diary, subscribed and will be following. Your plans for this year are basically the same as mine. Definitely less on screen time. Thinking of not going on line at the weekends. More reading. When I was younger I read all the time. Family time most important and appreciating the simple things.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

Hi amber03, hope your well and thanks for posting. I also read loads when I was a child it was my way to escape from everything, I could easily get lost in a book for hours on end. xx1 -

Wow well that puts things into perspective! I’m guilty of being a stress head over stuff that really is trivial! I’ve subscribed to your thread, think I’m going to pick up some great tips along the way
wishing you and the family a Happy & healthy new year.

Happy New and thanks for subscribing.
I used to be the biggest stresshead, everything had to be perfect, I had to portray an illusion of perfection, I couldn't be seen as not having all my plates spinning and my anxiety was sky high, I still suffer with anxiety at times but i'm so much better than I was and I have learnt to let it go, life is too short. xx1 -
Happy New Diary
I'm trying to be more mindful too, it's made such a difference to my mental health"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Morning.
Wide awake since 5.30am so decided to get up and be productive, dishwasher emptied, WM on, sorted chickens and lit the wood burner. By 8am I was at Sainsburys.
Did a store cupboard shop at Sainsburys buying and stocking up on all the bits I can't get in lidl, mostly tea leaves, breakfast bars and razors, did use £6 off a £40 spend and have claimed £4.20 from various apps and receipts have been uploaded as well, So at least a £10 saving and it was all needs, well except for 2 packs of Christmas cards reduced to 25p but surely I can be forgiven for those.
£57 spent in lidl and stocked up on minced beef and granola as it was on offer, So a total of £98.13 on this weeks shop but hopefully next week will be less as i've stocked up.
Going to go and feed/walk the dog xx1 -
