Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

Hi Folks,
Here is this weekend's update.
Actually, nothing has changed.
The post above points out an article on emoneyfacts stating that Principality BS were going to withdraw their Issue 9 regular savings "fixed rate bond" account paying 4.5% and replace it with Issue 10 paying 4.2%.
Since then, this emoneyfacts article has stated that this will not happen and the Issue 9 account remains in place for the moment.
I will do another update next weekend.
All the best,
SS20 -
From emoneyfacts...
PRINCIPALITY REGULAR SAVER BOND Issue 9 will be withdrawn w.e.f. close of business 9.2.10 and Issue 10 will be launched paying 0.50% less w.e.f. 10.2.10: a one year fixed term regular savings account with a minimum monthly investment of £20, maximum £500, paying 4.00% fixed for 1 year. 12 consecutive payments must be made or Instant Access rate paid. Earlier access on closure only, resulting in bottom tier of Instant Access account being paid.
I sent my application for the issue 9 yesterday to the freepost address. I hope they honour it.0 -
Thanks Speculator.
The Principality website has already changed - it is now showing the Issue 10 account paying 4%. I have updated post 4 accordingly. Maybe Milarky's message last week has helped a few people get in a last minute application for the issue 9 account.

I have been looking at the list of top regular savers to find another option to my Halifax one which has just come to an end. I thought the Norwich & Peterborough would be the best one for me as I like to operate accounts on line but when I went on the website it said you also have to open a current account and pay in £1,000 a month.
Can anyone suggest a good regular saving for around £300 to £500 per month that can be operated and preferably opened on line.0 -
Have you looked at the beginning of this threat? I doubt it and you will be embarrassed when you do!0

No I hadn't looked at the beginning as I couldn't see the point in looking at the beginnning of a thread that is several years old.0
