I went to their branch in London Haymark August 2, 2017. The appointment was made more than a week ago. The adviser I met which seems to me a newbie, start searching the product from their website. She later said she could not open it because she could not find it online. This is contradictory to another person experience.
Another evidence that she is clueless newbie; she even told me, next time in order not to miss a branch RSA ask to open it over the phone, could you believe that !!!!!!. I replied to her If I could open it over the phone I would have done it a week ago and no need to waste my time to come here. I know quite a few people in this MSE do not believe that you could still find such kind of person working in banking industry. But my personal experience tell me otherwise.
I wonder, does anyone manage to open this Branch RS Branch after August 3, or even until today ?
To contradict myself slightly, it is still on the website. Just not on the 'find a savings account' page - which., as an aside, doesn't even list the e-regular saver if you select the filter "I want to add money regularly", although it is clearly there if you show everything.
Anyway, if you go to the interest rates page and select currently offered and easy access, you'll be able to see Issue 5 of the branch version is still on offer and can go to the product page .Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -

The following is copied from the Virgin website:
Don't want to save online
No problem. You can also open most of our products in Store or over the phone. And the great news is, we pay the same rate of interest on your savings account however you choose to open and manage.
The point of this posting is the telephone opening possibility.
When I was last in a branch opening the Reg.Saver I did comment to the person that my visiting a branch was not easy. Nearest branch over 60 miles away. She also told me that accounts can be opened by phone. It might be interesting to hear of any member who goes down this route.0 -
Anyone been able to view/download the KPI for Virgin Regular E - Saver Issue 6?
I have all the others saved, including the Store Regular Saver Issue 5.

QUESTION: Does anyone know if I can make direct regular payments via standing order from a non-Nationwide bank account to a Nationwide FlexSaver regular saver account - or do I need to transfer it to a Nationwide current account first and then do the saver transfer via the Nationwide website?
Thanks.0 -

I think it's obligatory/automatic but you only have to ask them to see if you can!0 -

I had a problem as the FlexSaver sort code and account number don't match the standard format. I found the solution on the forums (link not included - I can't post any as a new user).
All set up now, so hopefully everything will go smoothly. Thanks to both for your quick responses.0 -
I've tried setting it up but the FlexSaver sort code doesn't match the xx-xx-xx format (it's only 4 digits long), and the account number is 9 digits. Entering these in the standing order form produces errors. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for your quick responses.
You need to use sort code 07-00-93 and account number 33333334. Put the roll number (the full thing) as the reference. The money will end up in your account. See here: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/support-articles/manage-your-account/sort-code-and-account-number-information#xtab:savings-with-passbook0 -
But about a year ago, there is a problem with transferring from an external account to RS, where the system return it. If my memory serves well, this has been reported by few members in this forum, which is also what I had experience.
For this reason, I'd suggest PK1000 tries it with a token amount first, before sending (up to) £500!0
