....or alternatively they're taking time to consult with their lawyers, PR team, IT folk, customer services management, etc, etc, or maybe even the FCA, before taking action?

Yes, that is possible too . We will see what happens.

I also funded mine on Monday and the website reads:

    Posted 22/5
    Processed 23/5
    Maturity 22/5

I intend to set up the SO from 22/6.

No kerfuffle for me as I only have the one account. With Ford anyway :)

Hey,I only have one RS and one RS ISA with Ford :p:)

I'd double check the above if your deposits went in on the 23rd no matter if you opened on the 22nd the SO needs to be set up for on or after the 23rd.

My maturity date yesterday was the 22nd ( the date I'd opened accs ) but today had changed to 23rd ( the date deposits went in AND showed on line )

    Go figure

The fact Ford haven't just closed them down immediately is a very positive sign. They are new in the finance world and will be wanting to make a good impression on people willing to give them their money...
Good impressions on those people that can't apply for it because others have opened a ludicrous amount of accounts?
May I ask why you're so concerned with what other people have done? It's not like you would be paying the interest out of your own pocket or anything!
Considering they're no longer available due to those opening so many accounts, I suspect those people who didn't manage to open accounts would feel somewhat robbed...

Anyway, needs a new thread as previously posted.

Somebody mentioned in an earlier post that the address to send Ford Money your proof of identity papers was a Freepost one, well the address I was given to post them to was...

    RTUB-AAXH-UHKE
    Ford Money
    PO Box 871
    Wallsend
    NE28 5BT

I couldn't see any mention in that of it being free so I put a stamp on it.

The FOS website appears to be down at the minute - server too busy/not responding. Coincidence?

(and no, before anyone gets upset, I'm not looking at it to start making a complaint about Ford Money)

The 'code' in the first line is what you'd normally get with a Freepost address. :)

If you're worried, just write FREEPOST above the code.

2 messages just received from Ford - we will see. Is someone putting together a formal complaint letter and a letter explaining 'our' interpretation of their T&Cs ? Maybe we should all use the same one (if it comes to it)

Did you send them a message first?
