I have posted it previous, they will not allow you to have another issue if you already have the previous issue.

We, as a couple, have 3 FlexDirect accounts (2 sole, 1 joint). All 3 accounts received £10.38 interest last month. It can be done!

What you can't have is 3 Flexclusive Regular Savers. For those a couple is limited to one sole account each.

ETA: I think some of the posts above this are confusing the FlexDirect current account with the Flexclusive Regular Saver.

No confusion on my part. Doesn't sound like it on theirs. How long have your 3 been open?

    Hi Mr Soulsaver,

Thank you for your message. I can certainly help you with your query.
    !
Great news Mr Soulsaver, you certainly can benefit from 5% in-credit interest with both a sole and joint FlexDirect.
    !
As you have a sole FlexDirect you will need to be the 2nd named account on the joint!FlexDirect. This means that the other account holder will need to apply for the account and add you as the second account holder.
    !
They can apply for a FlexDirect by completing an application online, calling our Sales Team on 0800 30 20 10 or by popping into a local branch.
    !
I hope this has helped Mr Soulsaver and enjoy the rest of your week.
    !
If there is anything else I can help you with Soulsaver, feel free to reply to this message or give our customer service centre a call on 0800302011 or if abroad please call +441793656789.

    Many Thanks,

    Leon

You can definitely have 3 FlexDirect accounts and get 5% interest on all. I opened my own first, then joint with me as first named and then my wifes. Mine and joint were opened 2 weeks apart and wfies about 3 months later.

Edit: Corrected after YB pointed out my mistake

Flexclusive is the regular saver. FlexDirect is the current account. Which Nationwide product are you talking about?

Seven months for the sole accounts, six months for the joint.

If this is prohibited by their T&Cs, I'll wait for them to take some action. ;)

There does seem to be some confusion around account names affecting other posters on here.

Some years ago we had a joint Flexclusive regular saver, long since closed. Am I now allowed another jointly? Or one in my own name?
Free the dunston one next time too.

Either, but best to open a sole...just in case you come into some money and can afford to fund two!
