Does anyone know what M&S do with matured regular savers? Mine has just matured and I've logged on to see it has completely disappeared with no sign of the money . It's not in the current account and no paltry savings account has appeared. I've sent them a message and hope it's not in the T&C's that if you don't do something within x days they can take the money for their staff Xmas party or something :o.

ETA I won't be opening another as don't meet the criteria.
So, money reappeared :rotfl:. Phoned up to close account, another 15 minutes out of my life I won't get back...........

No confusion on my part. Doesn't sound like it on theirs. How long have your 3 been open?

Do the right thing and remove NW advisors name from your reply eh?

Just like youve managed to do with your name on the reply...

I've just noticed that they launched Issue 3 on 2nd Feb.

The only change that I can spot is that if you aren't a 123 or Select customer you only get 2.5% now. (Sorry, I don't have Issue 2 t&cs to compare properly)

If you already have one from previous issue, you will not be able to open another one.

Is that from the T&Cs or have you tried?

I can't see anything in the T&Cs - am I lacking my specs again?

Agreed .. I cannot see anything in the T&C either.

    I tried Santander last night.

My Issue 1 saver matures in March 2017.

Sorry I was told .. one is only permitted to have 1 regular saver at any one time regardless of Issue number.

This has been discussed before, certainly more than once, and recently*. My RS matures in June so it's handy to know what it could be replaced with, and 3% is one of the better rates. :)

With the greatest of respect that discussion you've referenced is about issue 1 and 2.

Hence am grateful Patient Person has fed back specifically with their experiences of the newly launched issue 3.
  • Hi Folks,

    Here is this weekend's update.

    - Santander Regular eSaver (Issue 2) withdrawan
    - Santander Regular eSaver (Issue 3) paying 2.5% without a Santander current account added to post 4, and paying 3% with a Santander current account added to post 5
    - Kent Reliance Regular Savings (Issue 2) withdrawn and replaced with Issue 3 paying 3% in post 4

I will do another update next weekend.
