So I could sign up for a current account with tesco then as soon as I receive my debit card I'll be able to switch that account to an M&S current account and receive the switching bonus (assuming I have 2 DDs)?

I didn't need a debit card when I switched from TSB Classic to M&S. The first switching call to M&S asked for the debit card number, however when I phoned back it was confirmed that I could switch an account to M&S that didn't have a debit card.
  • May I ask a daft question? I looked at the Nationwide T&Cs, but it didn't answer my query.

With a joint Nationwide FlexPlus current account (but no single account), could we each open a Flexclusive Regular Saver? Or just one of us?

    3. You can only be the first named account holder of one Regular Saver or Flexclusive Regular Saver account at any one time, which can be
held in sole or joint names.

I'm reading that (and the other t&cs) as meaning you can have an account each or two joint accounts so long as the first named account holder is different on each one.

Thank you; that's what I was hoping it meant but I just wasn't sure.
  • Hi Everybody,

I have completed this weekend's update for the first page of this thread.

I cannot see anything that has changed.

I will do another update next weekend.

The Norwich & Peterborough BS Gold Savings Account is still showing up to me, although I thought you had removed it as the current account required is no longer available to open.

Thanks, I have removed it now (as originally planned).

  • For those of you fortunate enough to take out a Notts B.S. Savvy Saver R.S last year you'll soon be receiving a letter offering you the chance to continue saving with a Savvy Saver Follow On at 2.5% for a further year from maturity on 12/16.16.

Same conditions apart from you can save double (£200 per month).
  • Hi Special Saver

You might want to consider removing the Nationwide Flexclusive R.S.

It appears that I am one of many who received 0% rather than 5% ;)

Only joking - keep up the fantastic work
