When the system opened up two regular savers, I had one that has a card attached that has a sort code and account number and the other one had a sort code that was XXXX/XXXXXXXX or something similar, so it wasn't the standard six number sort code/ eight number account number combination.

I closed down the account that had the generic sort code and kept the one that had the standard combination and I send my funds from other banks account, and once paid in cash over the counter with the card.

The sort code is 07-00-93 and account number is 33333334, with your individual N'wide reference number for the account (for example 1234/123456789).

But have you tested the answers yet? The account number solution that's been given by 10_66 was on the NW webpage I pointed you towards (did you look?) but it says that that that account number and sort code is for accounts _with a passbook_ which this account isn't. 10_66 may know for certain as they've tried it.

Sometimes the answer is to read the T&Cs and/or call them if things aren't clear. It _is_ part of a discussion. I'm sorry I tried to help.

Well the response is not intended to you. I am refering to the post when peoplea re asking question here in this forum and get this kind of response like this ....

" Do the terms and conditions of the Flexclusive Regular Saver state that funding has to come from Nationwide? "

For the response like this we do not need a discussion forum, there is a T&C, there is CS you could always call, there is rule, regulation, law available online for you to read, etc
I agree with you on this one. Usually the information provided by forumites is helpful but I think sometimes some of them get a bit fed up answering the same questions over and over again. But you are quite right, just because you have read the Ts&Cs doesn't mean you understand them or that you haven't missed something important and it is always helpful to have a third party confirm (or otherwise) your interpretation of the Ts&Cs.

You are referring to a response that I made. My response was legitimate. The terms and conditions of the account referred to are few. Nowhere within them does it mention anything about funding having to come from within Nationwide. Reasonably it would have taken less time to read the actual terms and conditions, so few are they, than it would to post here!

My explain your difficulties, you may well be better to send money to your Nwide account then do a transfer to fund the regular saver.

Alternatively pay cash over the counter if you have a passbook savings account number rather then a sort code account number combo (which I understand the card linked regular savers have)

Not all regular savers have this comination, if you opened the account and asked for a card for access then you are allocated a sort code and account number that is individual to you rather then then generic sort code and the reference number which is your account details.

Nationwide savings accounts mainly passbook types have the combination you mention above, and this may cause issues when trying to send faster payments or standing orders.

Yes, I do. From Lloyds Bank and from Santander.

But I forgot how I got the information from, sorry, probably from their website. Certainly not from any forum.

If I have time, or you can wait, I can check for you next month when I pay them.
