Relevance to either this thread and/or Progressive B.S regular saver ISA is ......

Please dont say relevance is that B.O.S 3% current account pays more than ...... because large number of us already have those accounts x3 plus Progresssive regular saver account(s).

I am also keen to know if Progressive B.S Regular Saver ISA 2.75% rate as well as its non ISA branch regular saver will also be reducing in rate.

    Hi All,

Anyone aware of if you're allowed a TSB monthly saver for each plus current account, or is it only 1 per customer?
Just tried logging in and when I clicked on the monthly saver link it said I have the maximum number of products.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Although I didn't quote it, I was replying to a post by someone who had 'just noticed' that BoS Vantage will soon require 2DDs.

    Hence my reply;)

Obviously the poster then chose to remove their post, rather than leave it visible, and thus making me look foolish rather than themselves:cool:

Any good practice, regarding the art of declining the Bank sales Pitch without sounding rude or offensive to the agents ?? They are humans and have emotion themselves, they are just doing their job what they have been told.

At the moment what I always do is

"try to praise them first and then give a non-definite open answer".

For instance, " You have been very helpful bit thanks for the offer, maybe later when I need it ....

Any other good practice regarding the art of declining the Bank sales Pitch without sounding rude or offensive to the agent will be very much welcome.

Possibly but wouldn't have thought so.

I had to book an appointment for my last account about a month ago, though they managed to get me in in the same day due to a cancellation.

They'll probably just ask you to fill out some questions or do a for, with things like insurance and other financial products. You can decline if you want, but it's the same as opening online, when you are asked about your other habits and financial needs and requirements.

Interestingly the guy at the last appointment didn't try to sell anything but was new to them; he'd been laid off from a payday lending firm and when I suggested that must have been depressing he said not really, many of their clients were if the bmw, executive housing type, higher rate taxpayers who were just disorganised and paid the price for their lifestyle.

I usually say something like "I appreciate that you have a job to do and, whilst I don't wish to appear rude, I have all of the insurance/loans/mortgages/bananas I need at the moment thank you"
