    Highly unlikely.
Current accounts, loans, contracts for phones etc., very likely.

    Hi Folks,

I have updated the first page of this thread.

    - Nottingham Savvy Saver withdrawn
    - Nottingham BS Robin Hood Young Saver issue 3 replaced with issue 4, which is the same except that the maturity date on issue 4 is 31st July 2017 (rather than 28th February 2017 with issue 3)
    - Updated some broken links

I will do another update next weekend.

    Hi Folks,

I have removed the Progressive BS Regular e-Saver (Issue 2) from the list on page 2. It is difficult to tell but if you click on "about" then you can see it has been withdrawn. Thanks to MSE user Josh for letting me know.

    http://www.santander.co.uk/uk/savings/regular-esaver

    Max £200 pm funded from Santander C/A - 5%

    Following extra info added:

1 year term then account becomes a meagre 0.25%

Although an e.account Santander have not yet set up their system that one can do it all on-line .. I am told that this will come. In the meantime it is either a phone call to set it up or a Branch visit.

    Santander Regular eSaver

Mine is open after a quick 20 minutes on the free phone!

Worth noting payment month runs from the day of opening so you can't deposit now and again on the 1st of the month.
Payments have to be by Standing Order from Santander C/A - you can do as often as you like up to monthly limit or miss a month. Withdrawals are OK without penalty.
Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?

Wow 20 minutes - what on earth took them that long to open it for you?

    20 mins?? :eek::eek:

Just out of interest, do you have to set up the SO yourself or do they do that for you as part of the opening process?

5 mins on hold, then they read all the T&C's - free phone fortunately.

They set the S/O up for me - it's showing online already.
