There are a couple of branches not too far from me.
Send me your passports, council tax bills, HMRC or DWP letters, bank details, blank cheques etc and I'll open them for you0 -
0.1 better than anything else I can find at the moment (open to all)

Is this a new issue or the original issue from last summer?
For those interested I managed to open 2 of these (self and wife) by post last August. They may have been more lenient at time?0 -

Anyone fancy a trip to Scotland?
Dunfermline BS are offering a branch only account, 'Platinum Saver'. 5% AER (variable) on £100 - £500 per month.
Newbie, so can't post links. Head to dunfermline.com for more info.
Only the initial deposit needs to be made in branch, they're happy to accept all subsequent deposits by bank transfer.0 -
HSBC's are the only RSs ive used in the past 3 or 4 years
currently 6%?? not brilliant, but is there anything better out there?0 -

HSBC's regular saver used to be 6%, but it's gone down to 4% (for new accounts) now.
You can still get 6% if you have a paid-for HSBC account, but these are generally not good value.
The best regular saver accounts are listed in the first posts of this thread.0 -
Hi Everybody,
I have checked and I cannot find anything that has changed this week.

Could you please share your experience. I sent them email asking for application form and they confirmed that it could only be opened in branch so they refused to send me the application form.
I think if we could get application form and send them by post it could work but where to get the application forms any idea ?0 -

You are missing the boat my dear.
Most people in this thread are fully aware about this and already have HSBC, First direct and other RSAs with interest of more then 4% interest and easy to be opened online
If you have much more than £500 available to save or money which is currently in the saving account (not RSA) paying lower interest rate then you need to find more RSAs for drip feeding do not you ??......0 -
