This post says that LLoyds regular saver is about to drop to 2% :

Oh, and Skipton are also about to withdraw their 5% one.
As expected the rate has now dropped back to 2%: http://www.lloydstsb.com/savings/monthly_saver.asp

    N&P have 5 different RSA e.g.
    with 5% APR:
    - E-Family Regular saver
    - Family Regular saver
    -Gold Savings Account

    with 4%APR
    - E-Regular saver
    - Regular saver

I just got phone confimration that you could have all of this at the same time.

so you coud put £750 erning 5% and £500 earning 4%.

    ADINDAS

For the 5% accounts - you cannot have one (at this rate) of the family ones if you have previously had another Family RS.

Plus the Gold version as of Jan needs a Gold Current account (you can deposit £3k which cannot be touched and get 5%) which then has 5 transactions per month as various other stipulations IMHO a lot of messing about - but if you can be bothered....

    Hi Everybody,

    Here is this weekend's update.

    - Lloyds TSB regular saver removed from the list as the interest rate is only 2% for new applicants

    - Skipton BS have re-launched their Regular Saver account paying 3.25% fixed on up to £500 per month for 12 months (added to post 4). As before, you can close the account at any time without penalty. There is now no minimum amount to open the account with and no minimum monthly payment. Note also that the terms and conditions state
"Customers may only have one Regular Saver account open in any 12 month period, irrespective of the number of Regular Saver products issued."

I will do another update next weekend.

HSBC have now tweaked their Regular Saver accounts and are now offering:

    - a 10% AER/gross
fixed rate available to HSBC Premier, HSBC Advance, HSBC Graduate (Advance) and HSBC Passport customers.

    - a 5% AER/gross fixed rate available to Bank Account, Bank Account Pay Monthly and Graduate Bank Account customers.

In addition, they are offering £75
cashback if you change your bank account to them.

I believe these offers last until midnight on 6 February 2011.

    Regards
    Sunil

HSBC Premier is subject to financial eligibility criteria.

HSBC Advance Bank Account currently costs £6 per month for the first 3 months, then reverting to the standard price, currently £12.95 per month.

HSBC Advance has an initial 12 month contract then renewable monthly. HSBC Passport costs £8 per month and has an initial 12 month contract.

HSBC Bank Pay monthly costs £15 per month HSBC Bank Account requires a minimum of £500 per month to be paid into the account. This does not apply if you're under the age of 24.

    Hi Everybody,

I updated the entry on the HSBC regular savings accounts on Tuesday to reflect the current interest rates of 10% and 5% for new applicants as per the posts above.

There is nothing else that I can find which has changed.

I will do another update next weekend.

    Have a great New Year!!!
